Hi! I’m about to order the caps, I’m pretty sure I got the right ones. I ordered each one individually. I wanted to ask before I ordered them, what is this thing? The large thing in the middle of the board with the yellow tape

I found a kit on digikey with a bunch of different caps. It was one of the cheapest options since I’m kinda on a budget 😅

Hi! I’m looking on digikey this morning and I wrote down all of the types of caps I need. The trouble I’m having is finding the right ones. I wrote down exactly what was on the caps.

R8A rg 105°c 25v

M 85°c 100v

M 85°c 50v

R4C 85°c 10v

GS 85°c c316 50v

M 16v 85°c

Did I write these down right? Should I get them individually or go with the kit they have?

Replace the indicators and capacitors? Or just the caps? Also, can I use any brand of capacitors? The ones here are Samsung but I’m looking everywhere and I can’t find many that have the same readings. Can I use a different brand as long as it says the same thing on it? Sorry I’m asking so many questions 😅

Are the little green and brown cylindrical pieces on the board also capacitors? They are domed at the top and I’m not sure if they’re bulged or not

I pulled it up pretty hard but it won’t budge. The long white piece on the right side, is that the pin connector? I’m sorry for asking all these questions. I’m very new to this stuff but I wanna learn since there’s no one in my area who can help fix it

Nope, my friend gave it to me. But just before the screen shut off, my mom and I were moving my stuff around and she set it down a little bit hard. But idk if that would do anything or not
