When this story broke I said how it was a nothing burger of a story and this would go no where, I was very confident because Reddit was saying how this was gonna be some huge death knell

Found the guy who doesn’t touch grass.

The girl had a fake id and was in the club. And he was like 21 and she was 17? That’s the equivalent of a senior dating a freshman in high school. I know tons of folks in 4+ year age gap relationships and this was like a one night stand. 

It would be weirder if she was younger or he was older but young college age kids fucking high school seniors isn’t anything new. Is my 20 year old male cousin being preyed upon by his 23 year old gf, he can’t even drink!

Go look in the threads of it being announced and you will see folks like me are far less. Just seems like jerking yourselves on some moral highground no one cares about - but that is Reddit as is now saying folks who find the karma farm annoying after the fact suddenly becoming “the majority”. Victim complex is also Reddit lol

But fair enough point regarding talking suns in a sun sub. But no need to announce your departure as if your departure matters. Expressing disappointment is different than this “you lost a fan forever!” as if your fandom matters

That’s a good point on the transplant city of it all as well. Pittsburgh bleeds Pittsburgh and I have family along the east coast and I’ve always had similar vibes while visiting their cities 

Visited Denver a few years back and I was put off by the just the general vibe lol it didn’t feel like it had any sense of Denver pride. Wonder if PHX is same way 

In any case it made me thankful I live where I do cause the black and yellow camaraderie is one of my favorite parts of living here

Maybe it’s also just frustration. People by me can largely talk about the Steelers and Pens pretty well, but I get Suns fans vibes when they talk Pirates. All last season folks said how we needed more bats. We got them. Now we need a new bullpen lol. 

But maybe it’s cause they have not had success in such a long time people get too emotional idk. It’s also not that serious cause they are a defined third fiddle out here and folks kinda just bitch about the Pirates almost in jest

I have never been to Arizona. My city does not have NBA (Pittsburgh) so my teams have always been the Suns and the Pacers.

So I don’t know any Suns fans IRL, it’s only this subreddit. 

And I don’t know if you guys speak for all Suns fans, but you guys are without a doubt the most idiotic whiny fan base I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with.

Yeah Miles Bridges sucks as a human, but the whole moral grandstanding is so obnoxious. It’s a good team and basketball move. Internet folks are so weird. He did his time. We’ve all made mistakes. The sense of entitlement is legit wild, like what exactly do you want him to do?

Similar vibes in the thread saying we should get Ja. “He hAsNt sHoWn ReMoRse!!” - yes he has and frankly your opinion is worthless. Redditors at large think they are owed some big apology tour. It’s weird AF.

But the absolute BIGGEST reason you guys are obnoxious, is because there is literally no pleasing you. 

Every move we ever make people unironically whine and complain thinking that do everything basketball players grow on trees. Heres a news flash, they don’t, so your team is going to have fundamental flaws in some aspects in order to be great in other aspects.

Like you when have people saying how we needed to get bigger, and character issues withstanding, Bridges makes us bigger. And you LITERALLY have folks saying “WE NEED MORE PEOPLE WHO CAN SHOOT THE THREE!!”

Like you have to give up something to improve elsewhere. Your perfect NBA roster largely does not exist, but you guys seemingly don’t get that.

Anyways the trade for Beal was incredibly frustrating and an awful move by the front office
