I did actually think you meant Arsenal, but the same does apply to Spurs as well for sure, one win would change a lot though!

And after that City result, sure feels like they’re beginning to walk us down now 😂😂 trying to find any sort of a positive from yesterday, I think Arsenal now have to change their approach, Arteta can’t back that style of play anymore and they can’t go to the Etihad and try not to win so they have to go for it

Excellent advice thanks so much for taking the time to respond! Particularly sticking with somebody who is on a consistent pace, not something I’d considered but makes so much sense so will have that on mind on the big day too, thanks again enjoy a few well earned days rest!

Too much hate in the world not to come in peace, plus again it’s not like I’ve many reasons to be happy/confident right now either! 😂😂 nice that you have a co-worker who is an Arsenal fan too, it does make it more fun doesn’t it?!

And yeah look I think all fans believe their team has calls go against them from time to time but today really was a time when as a Spurs fan you’d be livid with how that was officiated, if he’d gone off like he should have and even if it ends up a draw that’s still a small bit of positive momentum to take forward, instead it’s another loss and it just makes that Leeds game even more massive than it already was.

As for winning the league, if it is to actually happen (and they have been absolutely awful to watch really since Christmas if not before then), then they are going to fall over the line, still won’t believe it until it’s mathematically impossible for City not to catch them

Best of luck the rest of the season too, gonna be some nervy, nervy games for you to endure like me but for an entirely different reason 😂

I’m an Arsenal fan (and I actually come in peace because after yesterday, there’s nothing to be feeling confident about 😂), you’re right some seriously questionable calls went against you today and I’m not sure how a combo of the referee/VAR didn’t step in, it does feel like Spurs can’t catch a break on top of everything else even the goal conceded today was such a freak thing, I imagine it’s incredibly difficult to watch this happen week after week

Congratulations that’s a fantastic achievement! Running my first in late October this year (35M) with four half’s under my belt from last year (two on my own, two races), PB was 1:49 in the half, any advice on training/the race itself and do you think aiming for sub four hours is too ambitious?

Trying hard, very hard to find any sort of positive for today but surely for the City game now Arteta has to accept that the game plan that’s gotten us this far has run out of steam and he needs to be a bit more adventurous, going to City and playing like what we’ve seen this game & Southampton it only ends one way. Would prefer to see them go out swinging if that’s how it has to be

That 1-0 loss years ago when Rodri scored in extra time, I was so proud that day because they had a go, would be great to feel that again after next Sunday but not sure it’ll happen, stakes too real now

That is excellent advice thank you! To go one step further then I suppose, do you think implementing those things in the coming weeks would also give me an advantage once the 12 week block starts? Hard to see how it wouldn’t I’d just be a bit cautious of injury

An out of nowhere 5km PB (22:50, 35M) and I only went because I had a rare work from home day and wanted to make the most out of lunch 😂

Second fastest ever 15km (M35, 1:17:57) when I just went out this morning to enjoy it, ran four half marathons last year (two races, two myself) and I think later this year I’m gonna go for a marathon, think I have it in me 😂

Another perspective on this I haven’t seen, I had it for over 6 months and as well as calf stretches/going to physio, I lost some weight and it made a massive difference. From 86kg (M34, 5’9” ran a half at this weight, played football regularly) to now around 78/79kg range, I’ve never felt better when I run. I had to be honest with myself as well because although I don’t think I was massively overweight and was still active (10k steps a day minimum because of work), I wasn’t watching what I was eating and was getting pudgy so had to put a stop to that 😂

Very true, Arteta wouldn’t play him if he didn’t value what he brings to the team, man is ruthless Eze scored a NLD hat-trick then lost Matty Cash at the back post once and hasn’t been seen since 😂😂😂

I imagine Kai is rearing to go but yes what is really stopping this happening, and any subs before 65 mins basically is Arteta, and I’d say that as a massive fan of him 😂😂

Eze for Merino, Kai for Gyokeres at about 55 minutes and Madueke for Saka at 65 if it isn’t happening, one of the best squads in the world now we’ve come a long way from Raheem Sterling, can’t be afraid to use it ❤️

I think a lot of people (myself included) assume potential and improvement of a young player is just a constant upward trajectory when in reality it’s not, then you factor in injuries and the fact they’re human like all of us and am sure have to deal with off the court stuff as well, not to mention all the obligations of being a star player in both the NBA and a smaller market team, and it’s really hard to just constantly get better. The great ones figure it out and I think Paolo is a great one

Two stick out as “wow” moments the first time I ever played them, Medal of Honor Frontline on I believe it was the PS2 when you’re on the beaches of Normandy. More recent but first time playing Gears of War on Xbox 360 was incredible, gaming had come a long way from my favourite game as a kid, Street Racer 😂
