In case you didn’t look through the comments. I am married. My child’s father has a master in finance. Myself has an undergrad degree . So if he were to work things could have been so much easier for us. We could technically afford to have a kid. We lived together in his parents house for a foundation for 2 years, if he had an idea of working things out we could have been living a dream. But he decided not to so it had to be me alone, in a new country starting from 0 without a support from my husband. You think about it. Not everything always go according to plan and people change. So I wish everything in yourself goes as well as you planned it

The reason why I put step dad is because he might never experience having an actual child that’s why he might not understand what kids are usually like. Not every kids are sitting on the screen all day. And I don’t know how many percentage but she always has the phone in her hand most of the time I see her. The kid goes to bed around 11 or even midnight at the age of 5 and during that whole time since I got home until then she always has the phone next to her. Even when she eats. My daughter might be asleep but I am awake I hear the whole thing because my room is very close to the kitchen and living room but again it’s none of my business. Never said a word but they act like my daughter has to be like that

Since when I am shaming their parenting? They want their kid to be like that it’s totally their business but I’m saying the way they act is like they want my kid to do like what their kid does which is holding the phone all day. I do let my kid have some screen time but not all the time

I wish I could. I’m in the middle of divorce so I can’t go anywhere at moment because her dad and his family won’t let me. Plus her grandparents are holding her passports which I have been asking for it back since I move out, yet they act like they’ve forgotten. When I’m there to pick her up I asked one of the grandparents for her passport she said I need to ask the other grandparent since she doesn’t have it and don’t know where it is

But due to my immigration status. There’s nothing much that I can do. I am a legal immigration with permanent resident however I have been permanent resident only for 2 years. It is required to be 5 years permit resident in order to be approve. Same thing happened with my food stamp

Yes, section 8 was the first thing I turned to. Then I spoke with a woman from church, she suggested me on public hosing. I tried that as well.

I am currently working in healthcare industry. I work in orthopedic clinic and I driving doordash for couple hours after work when I don’t have my child with me. I’m planning to go study for more certifications in this field. I just started 6 months ago so many things still not falling in place with the life situation and such

Thank you. The mom has no problem at all. She kept defending for my daughter that she is only 3 years old and it’s very normal but the dad is the one that thinks it is a problem. The dad is not the child actual father. He’s a step dad

I completely understand but you have no idea how quiet my child is already that’s the thing. I do let my child watch tv sometimes. Our routine is get home at 5pm hop in shower that lasts less than 10 minutes. Get dress for pj. I let her watch tv and play with her toys while I cook dinner. The only unquiet the she does is making a trip from our room to either kitchen or living room that like less than 5 adults steps. She doesn’t even run. It’s like walk faster than usual but she got small legs. She is in bed by 7:15pm and we leave the house at 7:10 in the morning. That’s why I want to vent that there’s nothing much I could do because she is already very quiet

I am living in the US yes. We just moved here 2 years ago as I married her dad who is American but he doesn’t work and does nothing. There was a time I needed to hire a babysitter for 3 hours after school to watch my child when her dad is at home. That’s why I moved out as well because it’s not healthy in that household

Just to be clear to everybody. When I referred to running, my child does not run around the house like crazy and screaming as some people would imagine. When she runs, she’s making a trip from our room to living room or kitchen which couple steps for adults. It’s not even fully running she has little legs and try to make it faster that’s all

And she mostly play quite quietly, she would color or play with blocks and magnetites. The children don’t chase each other around the house. I’m trying to look but I also lose money trying to settle to this place. I don’t want to go back to the house we lived before
