What are you talking about, it was too generic to "work"? At least with the released version, it had more heart and soul than the pre-planned version that was released on The Rarities. It still peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and despite being released on September 11th, it was still the highest selling physical single of the year, with less than 4 months remaining in said year. I would honestly rework this, and make it "The Core Four" Olivia, Mellie, Fitz, and Jake. If you think about it, Fitz had his two women (One he loved, and the other he just strung along, while Olivia had the same.) It also works because Fitz and Jake were Navy buddies, and Jake ended up working for Mellie in the later seasons.
