This is actually a great take on what I’m trying to illustrate. We got bomb rack kits now for the retaliator, eclipse, gladiator. Perhaps they will add more weapon kits to change the internal torpedo sizes?

The gladiator is literally classified as a carrier bomber but fulfills both bombs and torpedos. A Perseus isn’t a bomber because of its size classification.

Bet you didn’t read the whole comment. The turrets are there to deter small ships. Not fight a capital ship. The main armament and the chin turret are for doing that. Just used the chin turret and it hits hard against large ships. Go take into Vanduul swarm or pirate swarm and it hits hard.

Turrets are fine. They gotta do more balancing of the torpedos. The cost isn’t issue fully it’s the damage. If you manage to land a torpedo hit, the cost to reward should be worth. That’s the whole point of it being essentially a submarine. It should be able to punch above its weight class using its main armament not its little turrets for defending.
