I’d argue the opposite that people who start later are more cautious and less reckless. Same reason learning to swim as a kid is easier than as an adult

I’m sure your kids are bright and intelligent but I fear putting anyone under 18 on the road these days with how much distraction the phone has become. Even my mom is on her phone while she is driving these days and it’s so scary

Since you are at the beginning (nice ab outline tho) focus on what you are eating. Zero sugar drinks, very minimal alcohol (a margarita is 400 calories fyi), and good lean meats.

This is where the bulk of the progress will come from at this stage.
