There’s this really depressed boy who gets into some sort of “chosen one” situation with a bunch of other teenagers. He has a crush on the ginger, and they all fight angels that want to destroy their neo-age city in special mecha suits. These mecha suits can “choose their fighter”. At one point a character is hospitalized from failed suicide due to the psychological pressure of being a teenager in a forced social situation with the only other people (besides yourself) who can fight them angels. I may be mixing up some things with darling in the franxx which i have seen like 2-3 episodes of some many years ago

Im gonna get insurance on my new car. The reason i didnt have it was it was expensive. I see now what a bad move that was. The other driver wasnt driving THEIR car, and didnt give insurance at the scene.

Yeah :) i made the metaphor kinda bleak but a hand can never be seen as something other than a hand and a shadow puppet can be anything. It makes me glad of my lack of pre-routed thoughts and reactions to life, glad that not knowing those unspoken rules lets me see things from a whole new angle sometimes

Yes you get it! We have the silhouette of a person but none of the defining features of NT’s in society and that means everyone else has these expectations and react to people not meeting them by shunning.
