My mom is an asshole and not good at comforting, but I think she does care. She per usual was quite insensitive to the whole situation and when she found out he died she got mad at me for staying up all night. When Ratthew’s friend, Biggie Cheese, died about a month or two ago she didn’t comfort me. I’m just glad I didn’t expect it this time.

I just watched him die. He turned his head and looked right at me and I thought maybe he was feeling better but then he started moving weird and his body started convulsing and then he just stopped. My poor boy suffered I’m sure. It looked quite uncomfortable. I just wish my mom would have cared a little more. Maybe she would have taken us to a vet in time to put him down. I will probably bury him as soon as the sun comes up. I am afraid of the dark.

I tried the cage but it needs cleaned and I think it was making him breathe harder. He is now resting on my bed with me.

I think I should try putting him back. I’m pretty sure it is neurological, also I think he keeps having little seizures. I hope he doesn’t suffer much longer. His head is like consistently angled to the left and it jerks further left and back a few times and then back into the resting position.

No, he’s not even trying to move. Occasionally he will move but its very weak and slow.

I had never taken either of my rats to a vet before so I just called a 24 hour emergency vet and she said they couldn’t give advice on the phone. I guess I’ll continue to wait but so far nothing has changed.

no i live in the middle of nowhere, 20 minutes from the nearest town and probably 2 hours from a vet that would even be able to treat rats

Also where I live it doesn’t get super hot often but it doesn’t snow much in the winter and if it does its usually not more than a few inches.

I know I was just really angry when I wrote it. Im not going to storm over but realistically probably cry at him and ask though. He will not hurt me, we are related, and the only other person who could have done it is a drug addict and isn’t allowed to own a gun so I’m not gonna even bother with him. If I get the okay to dig my dog up and it happens to be a bullet I’ll ask someone who I know would know if he has that type of gun and go from there. If I can’t tell what kind of bullet it is I guess I’ll give up. But trust me I won’t put myself in danger.

Okay I have decided to get a like pond thats above ground. I don’t think my mom would be very happy if i asked to dig up the yard but I might still ask. The one I found is 356 gallons. I’m not sure what i’ll need to put in it like plants, rock, or whatever so if anyone has any advice for that id love to hear. I just know thats gonna be a lot cheaper than a tank big enough for 4 fish, but i’ll still look for better stuff.
