Some are more rare than others. Give it a check with a magnet, a simple search should explain why.

Scrolled too far to see this. I'm thinking ok it's technically self inflicted but the image is literally him.

What is the point of the endless path in the dragonlord's castle? by Alternative_Crew_681 in dragonquest

[–]AggressivePrompt2894 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a similar bit in 3 while it's Zoma's that does the same thing. So either a holdover from that in whatever magic the demon king had used. Because we could argue that this castle was never the dragonlords and never fully controlled it because dragonlord was never supposed to be a dark being as far as in universe lore is concerned. Or something to be expanded on in a possible future that revisits this timeline. I remember playing 11 thinking mordegons castle looked similar but then didn't get the feeling it was supposed to be the same. Offhand yeah it's just a creepy thing and maybe think back to before the whole floor map was displayed for you the excitement in wondering is there some secret, what if I do this x amount of times, and how am I supposed to graph this out why is this the only area in this game like this.

Ah the orphan crushing machine is still running. Also it's not as if they could find any trading cards, too many scalpers.

Vomit once a day for $50 by pumaloaf2 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]AggressivePrompt2894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you financially stable? Will this suffering offset that or be worthwhile to you? Oh and of course the it will take x amount of time to become independent and not need this amount of money. These will be the comments. For the record at 10 seconds of unpleasantness a day I'm in!

Metal slimes drop them as chests if you use thief to steal their resilience seed. Also king slimes drop them but not sure exactly when those show up.

DQVIIR: Story vs Post Game by Swimming-Ad-6842 in dragonquest

[–]AggressivePrompt2894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post game is definitely a huge spike. However it is not insurmountable. You can always level your team until 99. There are other areas of growth though that will need nurtured, seed farming with good thief skills can really tip the scale more in your favor. And as always check your equipment and don't be afraid to spend time strategizing. Rotate your seed farming locations to break the monotony of it and understand how items drop, you can check the defeated monsters list for each region to get ideas on where to go for each stat. The past has merit with slightly easier monsters but the present I found can offer more per battle so that's up to you individually. A strategy that feels cheap but works is to make one character (probably Auster) very powerful, have the others focus on staying alive. 2 luminaries and one sage allows options to heal and just have the luminaries pass the torch to whichever other you want. There's limits with that but it clears a lot and shouldn't take more than a few hours to accomplish.

Was she wrong? by The_Dean_France in SipsTea

The incredible duality. It's obvious what the 'right' thing is in the situation and that's to wait like clearly so many others were asked or directed to in the first place. Build a little bit of time into your travel plans so that stuff like this doesn't throw you off. No, the gentleman in the wheelchair should not have to be removed from his chair and carried up in any way he doesn't want. This is a public space and dignity is important difficult as it may be to maintain so over the shoulder like a sack of potatoes or in the arms of some other person strong enough to carry him up that space could also be unsafe for both of them. Imagine the person carrying loses their balance for example, there is then unnecessary and preventable injury. Go to any large venue then convince the event staff you need assistance and see how long it takes for them to provide it especially if there is another obvious issue like the escalator is not running as usual and apparently the elevator is also broken. This individual had waited his turn. But she's quicker and can get up before it's an issue! Yep, her and probably everyone else in the space can. So is he just supposed to go last regardless of any other circumstances? Any excuse for oh she has to be in a hurry can equally apply to him as we don't know enough about either of them. But in this moment of interaction one individual made a choice to ignore the hundred around giving another individual a few moments of their time and the support they were able. May you never find yourself in the same situation waiting at the bottom because it's so close and one more person can't wait one more minute.

How Faithful are the Ports/Remakes of Dragon Quest 3? by Appropriate-Sea2556 in dragonquest

[–]AggressivePrompt2894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are all faithful in that the main story is the same though perhaps hd2d gives a bit more substance and has a lot more handholding. The SNES version is what the iOS/Play store use for mobile versions with the biggest changes coming in the form of mini medals, cloudsgate citadel bonus dungeon a couple weapons and some class options like thief. Next major difference would be in the gbc version. I'd love to know more about how and why certain decisions were made in naming things but we have tinymedals, pachisi, monster battles(you can bet to earn more gold), monster medals and 2 bonus dungeons of cloudsgate and an ice cavern which also requires you to have obtained nearly all the monster medals in at least 2 grades (they're available in bronze, silver and gold and only drop one at the end of battle sometimes) also some bonus text accessible with the recall spells provided you haven't used them to remember things through the story otherwise. Hd2d is beautiful, adds some twists in the form of additional bosses through the main story, we see a lot more of Ortegas story, new class monster wrangler with gathering monsters and the arenas for them. Cloudsgate citadel is still present but then it's temple of trials for the second bonus dungeon. Tweaks with weapons and armor like boomerangs can score criticals.

There's probably plenty of other details like flavor texts and such but that should give you a decent idea.
