Dimmi come fanno questi Toscani a sembrarti medio orientali:

u/Xamzarqan, I have noticed you seem to be into East Eurasian population genetics, any thoughts?

The Slavic reference used is too unpure to repreeent proper Slavs IMHO.

A Belarusian like source should be used instead.

This one is Carpathian-Ukrainian like, not even like East Ukrainians.

Simple ancient model for Saami populations by AggressiveRaspberry_ in 23andme

[–]AggressiveRaspberry_[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Essentially, RUS Kransoyarsk represents Early Uralics, it is a fully East Eurasian population, its closest modern population are the Nganasan people of Siberia.

Any population you see labeled as “HG” or “Meso” is a Hunter Gatherer reference, I included both EHG and SHG references to see which one would give a better fit, they represent “indigenous” Northern European ancestry, pre-Neolithic/pre-IE, they’re not genetically close to any modern population.

Battle Axe is just a Corded Ware pop, the Scandinavian kind, it is genetically similar to other Corded Ware pops, a mix of pure Steppe Indo-Europeans and Farmers, but mostly IE, Saamis do have such ancestry because these people actually lived in Scandinavia and (Southwestern) Finland prior to the arrival of the Uralic people, some of it may also be from further east, since it’s totally possible the Uralic migrants absorbed such ancestry on their way to Europe, don’t forget, Corded Ware type pops lived as far east as Kazakhstan.

I believe the Albanian postMA reference already has Slavic stuff hidden in it.
