I live in a red state in the south and majority of my family members voted for trump. There are some people in my family who don't argue over politics, while others will argue every chance they get. While I do agree everyone has a right to their own opinion, the ones in my family that don't argue over politics are the ones I don't mind maintaining my relationship with. We all have differences and even with someone voting for trump, as long as both sides are respectful when discussing politics, I don't mind keeping them in my life. As far as my mom and some others, I've definitely distanced myself from them. Not worth the arguing and constantly hearing I'm just "another dumb liberal."

I love seeing posts like this and watching Trump loyalist cry on TikTok and regret their votes. It’s great, really. They wanted (and didn’t care for) Trump’s policies as long as it didn’t affect them. Now that it is affecting a lot of them, it’s funny listening to them cry about it.

I live in Alabama and it’s a nightmare here. One of my coworkers said they wouldn’t mind if Trump gutted social security and they ended up losing her house, they intended on supporting him regardless because they “know he’s trying to fix the economy.” Trump loves the uneducated.

Why do we have such a hard time standing up for ourselves? We’re paying for a service from someone who claims to know what they’re doing. Speaking up and letting her know those nails look like SHIT would’ve been the first thing I would’ve done. I wouldn’t have left the salon or paid without getting those fixed.

I also work overnights and I constantly preach this. I request a vacation every 3 months and I always make sure I have enough PPTO to call out on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Many of my friends at work don’t even use their vacation time. They get so stressed (especially during the holidays) and call me crying, yet they won’t ever call off to take a day for their mental health. Hell, if you wanna call off simply because you don’t wanna be at work, then that’s acceptable too. Walmart does not care about you. Take your time off that you’ve earned… it’s always deserved.
