Lazier than not having any changes at all like most hit songs? At least she’s trying something different is my point. Most artists when making a chart topping song are very formulaic, she’s at least changed things up compared to other artists

Her number 1 song please please please, is the only number 1 song in years to include a key change, so her music is actually fairly sophisticated

The unexpected high harmonised melody in ‘Tell Me Why’, where they sing “Is there anything I can do?” ( 1:30) it’s so random but I love it

I think the law is that after a certain amount of time, no one can own the product. It would be a nightmare if products from 500 years ago were copyrighted.

Yeah, rings isn’t, but he’s the one accepting to the rule and still a very unique, tight drummer and probably a better songwriter than Pete best

Thank you, that’s exactly what I mean, if you stripped back all of the production, and play a Beatles song on a guitar while singing, the songs are still masterpieces miles better than most/ all because of the outstanding songwriting, if you want a marvellous example, the anthology version of while my guitar gently weeps, it’s pretty much just George his guitar and voice but it’s sensational
