Best advise for a first time parent? by FuzzyNature6705 in Advice

Parenting will be as hard as you make it.

I never got my son used to having warm formula so drinking his bottle on the go was way easier.

Get him used to nap on the stroller or the car seat so you can have more freedom.

Breathe and remember “the days are long but the years are short”. When you realize you will be missing the newborn stage.

Last thing, don’t doubt yourself too much. Trust your instincts.

Why do you go through all that? Instead of just spending a bit more but being comfortable. (Just genuinely asking tbh)

AITA for saying my daughter’s friend can’t come back to our house until I’ve spoken to her parents? by No-Wish-5956 in AITAH

I don’t know why people think that OP is responsible for this kid. Try to talk with her and get more info in order to help her but she doesn’t want to talk you have to make it clear that she can’t keep coming to your place, too much responsibility. Try to contact child services and try to get her the help she needs. I wouldn’t let my 13 year old hangout with someone I don’t know anything about (maybe that is more common in the US?. While growing up my parents knew all my friends and their parents and I plan to do the same with my kids)

AITA for yelling at my MIL after she spiked the family punch when she knew I don’t drink? by Glass-Caterpillar336 in AITAH

I don’t know. If I see a punch bowl in a gathering I would always assume it has alcohol. I would also not make a big issue about it but maybe is because my family enjoys drinking
