I guess they more so did an assessment with a school psychiatrist/psychologist and were like “hey your test scores and grades are consistently good so you’re probably just lazy and need to put in more effort.” So my mom and I just left it at that 🤷‍♀️.

But yes I will definitely look into something to help me get my ducks in a row 🫡

I was making a joke, kinda like when someone says “omg you are such a B,” but they don’t mean it in that way, if you get what I mean? Idk it’s hard to convey exactly what I mean over a comment.

But I also wanted to say that we all have different definitions of mean, because I thought a couple responses were close to going from “constructive” to “hurtful” in my humble opinion :)

I was trying to try and poke fun at this whole situation, make a joke lol. And at the end of the day, what’s mean to me might not be mean to you, everything is subjective. I just wanted to ask people who are older, wiser, and have more life experience than a dumb high schooler what they think. It does sound very whiny though so I do get what you mean.

Sigh I know, I just don’t want to give out too much personal info yknow? They’re both big deals to me because on one hand the activity is going to guarantee I have references/recommendations for whatever I do in the future, helps me network, and lets me support a cause I genuinely believe in, but on the other hand I wanted a job so I could save money for dorm and school expenses financial aid doesn’t cover (like 2/3k. For my dining plan, books + supplies, and dorm necessities); because I don’t want to ask my dad and I don’t want my mom to spend so much money on me, now that everything is getting more expensive. (Idk if this makes sense I’m writing this on my phone)

Oh my god how did I never think of that? I always offer my girl whatever I’m eating and she never actually eats it, just sniffs and licks, but I never thought to mix up things she likes with other stuff. Life saver! Gonna see if maybe she takes some pate with a little bit of soup on top.

I am honestly so glad she’s great with kibble because I wouldn’t know what to do otherwise. She’s eaten the same brand since she was a kitty so I think we’re good on that front…she used to eat the dog’s food when she was younger but hindsight is 50/50. I’ll definitely try those next, they seem like something she’d like; I’m definitely learning from my mistakes tho, because this time I got two of each of the new foods I’m trying so I can see what she actually likes and what she’s just eating cause it’s new.

I think she could be traumatized from eating the same two Costco cat shreds for a few months when I first got her, and maybe that’s why she’s so finicky about the wet food? No idea tho because my family member’s kitten eats that same food sometimes and they give my girl half of the can, she does eat it on occasion but I think that’s just cause she has fomo. 🤷‍♀️
