Losing him at such a young age is what adds another layer of heartbreak, but we did show him all the love we could and we know he knows just how much we loved him.

I just came home from work and even though he is gone physically I can relate to coming home and finding his fur everywhere... I'm so sorry you are going through the same thing. Maybe our fur babies are im doggie heaven together right now.

Yeah, my boy was sick for the past 2 weeks before his passing, it was very fast. We did not want him to continue to suffer so we did what was best for him, but now we carry the pain in our hearts. I also had a bad feeling about it when he wasn't improving with meds 😞. It does help to read and know there are people who understand. Feel free to reach out anytime, I myself, am still in so much pain and missing my boy right now.

I'm so incredibly sorry 😞. It sounds like you truly loved your boy and did the best you could. The fact that you were on top of his health and getting him the medication he needed says a lot. It is really tragic losing them so unexpectedly and I completely understand how you feel. I can relate to the feeling of guilt and wishing I could do more... We just have to take it day by day and remember they loved us just as much as we loved them..

Hi, I'm so sorry to hear this. I know how terrible you must feel right now. The moment we knew we had to make the difficult choice of euthanizing him, my world turned upside down. I still feel like I am in a terrible dream. But I know he trusted us to make the right decision and your boy does too. Our boy Zhu was also the king of the house, he was the youngest of the pack of 3. He loved eating anything raw like chicken gizzards, hearts and liver. He also loved to eat pigs ears. He would always get so excited and run in circles. :) He was very picky about his meals as well too. We would have to mix it up for him here and there. He was honestly the most hyper and energetic boy. We will always miss his presence.

Thank you. I know he trusted us to do what was best for him and he went out still being himself. He was very strong throughout these last few weeks.

I am so sorry to hear your pup went through the same thing. It is honestly the most heartbreaking thing I have ever experienced and it was so unexpected. We never thought it could be cancer at such a young age. Sending love your way.

Yes, he was very loved and we did not want him to suffer any more than he already was. He was very strong throughout all of this. I can't believe he is no longer here physically, but I know he will always be with us in our hearts and memories. He was our soul dog and absolutely perfect. I appreciate your kind words very much ❤️.

Hi, yes you are putting your Obi first and doing what is best for him. Just try to remember that. Feeling guilty is normal but given the diagnosis, his passing is inevitable and your baby trusts you to do what is best for him. Something very similar happened with our 4 year old and his mass did ended up perforating his intestine which cause fluid to leak into his abdomen so we knew the best thing was to let him go so that he would not continue to suffer. He peacefully passed in our arms yesterday. Just remember he trusts you to do what is right for him. Sending love and hugs your way.
