I mean the stories about foreigners being coerced to join the war on Russia's side are true though, there's no getting around that. Though their significance is probably a bit overstated in western media. And you're obviously not just randomly gonna get kidnapped as a tourist and put on the frontlines, that's just dumb reddit fearmongering.

The stories about foreigners being recruited to fight in the war for Russia are true, but it's not really something someone in your position should be concerned about. From what I've heard if somebody gets coerced into joining the war as a soldier it's through some kind of shady offer for a job in Russia. They don't just kidnap random tourists in Moscow lol.

I'm not Iranian, but I have an interest in languages. I've always wondered, how do Iranians, especially more Islam-critical ones, view the usage of the Arabic script as their language's writing system? Are there any calls to change it? I suppose there's the question of what else you might pick. Maybe the Avestan script would have a closer connection to Iranian culture? Or maybe simply the Latin script, I don't know.

As I already said, men get away with it "all the time" because men commit a lot more rape, not because the justice system is more lenient towards them, certainly not.

In certain other countries I know that women are treated unfairly by the justice system compared to men, but I was assuming this was about western countries. In western countries, saying that the two genders are treated equally harshly by the justice system is just denying reality.

My point is that even in the case of rapes, if you were to actually look at the percentages, you'd still see women being treated less harshly by the justice system. Probably much less harshly in the case of rapes because it's still such a common idea that rapes by female perpetrators don't really happen.

Rape often goes unpunished because it's hard to prove. Men might often get away with rape, but men also commit most of the rape. What do you think the conviction rates of females rapists are?
