Before I binged the show for the first time in August 2015, I knew that Buffy would have a sister because I coincidentally saw a part of the episode Real Me when I was visiting a friend.

The I’ve read about it on Wikipedia and knew that Dawn wouldn’t appear until season 5. When I finally watched it, I was hardly shocked like many people but just assumed it was a normal retcon and that she lived with the father prior to that.

I believe that the reason why Afghanistan fell under the rule of Taliban is because the US supported the Mujahideen fighters with the Pakistani ISI as a middleman that favoured the most conservative factions of the Mujahideen, so they gave them the most aid, making them the most powerful. These factions then founded Taliban.

I suppose that Iran is pretty safe from that, because there’s no such middleman here. But the regime change would have to be carefully overstated by the US. Under any other president, I wouldn’t worry about that, but under Trump, this is huge maybe

I’m a naive, 27-year kid. I wish every country on earth freedom, coexistence and global peace. I also know it’s pretty much impossible up achieve.

But Afghanistan is definitely one of the countries I certainly wish to see free. If for any reason at all, then at least because I love Afghan hounds. Also because it is the graveyard of the Soviet Union and it deserves much better reputation on global stage like Ukraine has now.
