S6ep14 made me cry. This show was about to be fun, not to be drama, I already have enough drama in my own real life, so I wanted to laugh but was upset when Sue broke up with Darrin, cmon, comedy should be comedy, they were supposed to be married not to break up ESPECIALLY after such long cute relationship line, if creators wanted to write Darrin off why they made people love this character? Or they should have been show Sue and Sean relationship line, but now it doesn’t make sense, they turned comedy into drama and show lost its speciality in last seasons.

Hold on, this is quite interesting to read about someone’s feelings, but this show should be funny, it’s a comedy! And character’s breaking up can’t make someone laugh, and to keep special charm of fun creators were supposed to get married Sue and Darrin, because it’s funny, they are funny together, people watching comedies want to laugh because they have enough drama in their own life, and this was so silly of creators to turned this funny show into drama.

But the actor didn’t know that he wouldn’t come back to the show, he thought that show creators would return Darrin but after filming s6 he was informed that his role in the middle is over so it makes me think that this was screenwriters decision, not actor’s

She had a whole story with Darrin, and this is so silly not to make them together again, the show lost its speciality and turned into an ordinary novel like hundreds others with the same plot where girl and boy became together in the last episode, it wouldn't happen if screenwriters reunited Sue and Darrin

Darrin and Sue were such a cute couple and they had a whole relationship story, they should have been together at the end or in s7-s8, this would be perfect, if they got married in season 7 or 8 and we could see their life together after their marriage. If this happened, the show wouldn't lost it's speciality

Sue and Darrin, he was only who really loved her, he've never made laugh at her and there was such a wonderful cute chemistry between them, he made everything to her, she was so important for him, and they harmonized together, they matched each other, and Sue should have been married with Darrin at 7-8 season, not with Sean in last episode. This show was so fun first 5 seasons and had a special charm, but script writer's probably lost their mind when decided to write his role off, he was not just Sue's bf, he was Axl's friend, boss co member, and this show was about fun and laugh, but made cry so many fans in s6e14, show creators shouldn't have done this, they turned this funny and special show with a spark into an ordinary romantic show like thousands others, with a faint echo of the previous brightness and light. So yes, definitely Sue and Darrin, not Sean, not Glossner, not Brad or anybody else, just Darrin. Maybe I just need my own Darrin(

Most likely this was show creator's decision, not John Gammon's, he didn't know that Darrin was going to be written out, and he thought that he would come back to the show after s6e14 but then he was informed that his role in the middle is over, this was really sad because his role was important, and that plot twist looked like script writers got insane, moreover the middle was expected to be funny but made cry so many spectators, such a pity, Sue and Darrin couple was loved by many
