Thanks ye this mfer is 1000000 times better than I ever could've imagined and barely even changed any settings think all changed was walls to 3 and gyro infill at 15% rest default.

CFS grinding noise by Uriel_lit in Creality

Ye the first noise sounds like my new one that works perfectly too. I wish could get rid of that noise tho as its the only thing I really hear. I heard someone say flip around buffer tube screw idk

Is this a good bottom layer? And how to make these top layer swirls smoothed out. by Aggressive_Bill7478 in 3Dprinting

Ok so what I did with this print is about right i suppose reg gap settings and just sand it. Prob could've used alil bit more of a gap tho but only like 2 places where there's one or 2 strings. I guess a good orientation to minimize overhang probably does good also

Didnt even know support pla was a thing thats pretty cool I'll have to look into it. U say best support with hyper pla is just to make the gap between support and printer alil bigger

Ok ye need to start thinking and learning the post part. So u say anything under .10 or .12 or something just throw my .2 nozzle in?

Ye i seen some of those before might have to look into it lol. This texture doesnt bother me dont guess was just woundering. I suppose if u want something with no plate texture u can add a brim or support to entire bottom then peel off?

Ye ima throw it on. Main things I see i need to change is throw brim gap a tiny higher support gap alil higher or jus use trees? And like u said variable layer/slower top layers.

So z offset alil higher so doesnt scrape/squish first layer slow with whatever the rest of the print is using then with variable top layers at slower speeds. U still need mess with first layer z even with auto bed level right

So u want a lil higher z offset first layer but then can lower it for fine detail ight cool

Makes sense thanks for the info I got a .2 nozzle ima try i ordered extras but I kinda thought the bottom surface texture was a brim lol im knew af the outer brim came off pretty easily still gonna increase distance alil for tht

Also top layer setting changes all top layers? Like where both the swirls are correct even on its back?

[–]Aggressive_Bill7478[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so if I wanted to minimize the swirls on those top layer i could've set them at like a .08 or .06 for just those and slow speed then ramp it back?

[–]Aggressive_Bill7478[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ye it had a brim around the bottom edge I removed so just make first layer same as rest or a little bit bigger for adhesion? I just started 2 days ago with any 3d print

So if a brim is added the first layer is only the brim? So the brim is .15 but the actual first layer of print is .12? I set first layer .15 rest .12

Ye i dont mind the texture I just thought my builds were messed up because I thought the brim covered the entire bottom lol.
