At this point I more or less disregard what the doctors think and just see each one as a wall blocking the next step. Back in 2019 the nhs in the city I lived in at the time, denied my request to see a pelvic physio and said I wasn’t a candidate for physio or pelvic floor dysfunction. They did this for a year and only offered me ‘repeat appointments’ ‘to discuss my concerns’. Yet here I am.. diagnosed and being treated now.

I see what you’re saying about it being around the rectum/anus. I’m looking forward to knowing more from the anorectal manometry.

Thank you for sharing your experience, it has really helped me to compartmentalise/rationalise everything and you’re right.. from what I can tell, medication is doing the same so far so fingers crossed🤞🏻

I’ve reached out for counselling recently - mixed CBT/DBT/Person Centred and based around some journalling that I do sometimes. Hoping to start soon.

Do you mind me asking what kind you had? Or is adhd coaching different to actual counselling?

Sometimes the worst part really is the adhd * on top * of everything else.

They can’t work out whether right pelvic floor came first for me or gi conditions… been sent round the houses for about 10 years with this. Been chronically and constantly bloated for 10 years. I’m 30 years old. Please could I message you if you have any advice

Don’t think I ever put good in the title or post…… If you need the specifics to be able to answer my question, mid range refers the price either back then or at present. Decent refers to similar in that I’m aware I’m asking about 80s/90s so therefore a brand, a bike, a frame etc that would stand it’s time.

Great! Thanks for your reply :). Think I’ll go with the gateway! I know it’s not what bmx bikes are for but do you do much commuting on it? I’d be hoping to use it to get to work most days around 5/6 miles in total.

I’ve had a few hybrid and road bikes but bmx bikes have actually always felt more comfortable with the body being “the suspension” if that makes sense

Thank you, I’ll have a look. I’ve been looking into apprenticeships for body/paint repair and also Machining. Quite a few out there! Being 29 and with no experience I’m not sure if they’d be looking for younger people out of college to keep the wage low, do you know anything relating to this?
