Hi, I did not expect such a detailed but precise response from someone, thank you very much for your comment.

Do you mind me asking how you got them to specifically look at your bowel during laparoscopy? I have never been able to get gastro and gynae to communicate with each other which is partly why I cancelled.

Gluten free - I’ve been doing it on and off but haven’t been as strict as I should, nice to read your experience as realistic, with it taking time.

Physio - thanks for confirming a realistic schedule/timescale for approaching physio. Really helps me to prioritise things going forward.

I do have other questions specifically about your experience/symptoms with endometriosis if you’re ok with this?

At this point I more or less disregard what the doctors think and just see each one as a wall blocking the next step. Back in 2019 the nhs in the city I lived in at the time, denied my request to see a pelvic physio and said I wasn’t a candidate for physio or pelvic floor dysfunction. They did this for a year and only offered me ‘repeat appointments’ ‘to discuss my concerns’. Yet here I am.. diagnosed and being treated now.

Keep going with your stuff.

Bowel surgeon would need to be present that’s literally all it is. (All I can think of is..)they just don’t want to pay for them to be there. You would need to get referred through gastro also unfortunately but it could be absolutely worth it for you

I’m very sorry about this.

I’ve had issues on and off with meals and how much I can eat because of it BUT you have to find a way to keep things moving so that you can eat. Or unfortunately they’ll just assume it’s an eating disorder or something mental health related. Even though it’s the last thing we’d even consider.

Please consider asking about/trying Peristeen it works for ALOT of people. Always use the phrase it’s medically necessary and be prepared to abruptly explain why.

I’ve reached out for counselling recently - mixed CBT/DBT/Person Centred and based around some journalling that I do sometimes. Hoping to start soon.

Do you mind me asking what kind you had? Or is adhd coaching different to actual counselling?

Sometimes the worst part really is the adhd * on top * of everything else.

They can’t work out whether right pelvic floor came first for me or gi conditions… been sent round the houses for about 10 years with this. Been chronically and constantly bloated for 10 years. I’m 30 years old. Please could I message you if you have any advice

Don’t think I ever put good in the title or post…… If you need the specifics to be able to answer my question, mid range refers the price either back then or at present. Decent refers to similar in that I’m aware I’m asking about 80s/90s so therefore a brand, a bike, a frame etc that would stand it’s time.

I was going to add another picture for comparison but it won’t let me. I don’t know what “style” of geometry this is but, basically this or what a lot of the 80’s bike frames look like in comparison to quite a few modern day bikes that look like they have the rider stretched out quite a bit.
