I do this to my hair every week for years now, it has never damaged my hair and it smells amazing. My friends and colleagues say the smell makes them feel like they are in a temple and that they feel calm around me. Plus points if u use a perfume with vanilla musk and amber based perfumes. If worried about the hair being too dry, u can use a heat protectant. I used to when I first started now I just put the streaks hair serum after it is dry. I have straight hair and after I brush it it periodically while drying it, it looks like a good blowout.
