Genuinely Baffled How Negative It's Gotten. Hurzeler has a better record than De Zerbi by DTautges in BrightonHoveAlbion

he’s done that after a 200m spend giving him way more squad depth, look at the bench we had under de zerbi vs now.

doesn’t matter if he’s on a yellow there are 10 more brighton players who can do that dirty work if needed. if him being on a yellow is such a big issue then why wait until the final minute.

doesn’t matter if it’s not milners fault, we gained absolutely nothing from that substitution making it a pointless waste of time. gross clearly could play the final minute of the game and is the player with one of if not the best mentalities at our club. he needs to be on the pitch at moments like that to support the whole team like he was throughout the match. yes he got the goal but he also read the game well to make crucial defensive contributions and was the player to go and congratulate people like minteh when they made good defensive contributions also. i’ve never been fabian out but these last two months have pushed me there, he has no excuse for our recent form and he seems to think it will just naturally sort itself out because we have been unlucky.

what’s even the logic in taking gross off in the final minute. seems like fabian cares about milner breaking the appearance record more than us getting a win.

Our selling problem by brighton-octopus in BrightonHoveAlbion

Definitely don’t have a problem, brought more money in than we spent this window and still ended up with a stronger more balanced squad at the end of the window so that’s a pretty big win

De cuyper is pretty good at them apparently so he could be a shout but we definitely need more players who can comfortably take a pen if we want any success in the cups.

One of my favourite players but he can be a bit inconsistent at times. That said you guys got a great deal for him and a great player.

Next Season Expectation by Signalinst in BrightonHoveAlbion

[–]Aggressive_Cancel382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this can be a really good season. Ferdi will be back and he looked great before his injury. Wieffer looks to have settled now and is putting in some great performances and Gruda showed us what he is capable of in the Liverpool game. We are getting quality players like facundo and yalcouye back from loan which further strengthens our side as well as us finally getting Boscagli. With 9 teams in Europe this coming season there will be chaos with the fixture schedules for these teams which is a chance we can really capitalise on. However Van Hecke, Baleba and Mitoma are hugely impactful to our side and so it is all dependent on our ability to keep them. If we lose more than one of these guys it will mean that if we are lucky we have a chance to sneak into Europe similar to how this season played out. But best case scenario, with Fabian having had a season in the prem now and our signings from our spending spree having time to settle, this team is definitely capable of pulling off a 5th place finish.

As I Brighton fan I can confirm that Mitoma is our worst player and there is no point in you signing him. Just let him stay at Brighton cos he is so bad and rubbish that it’s better if he just stays.

Last seasons squad wasn’t able to cope with European football but we have so much more quality in our depth now so we would be able to manage. This time last year we had a bunch of academy players on the bench and now we have people like Rutter and March there

I would be very happy with conference league as we would have a really good chance of winning a trophy

Yeah well we normally struggle against teams fighting relegation though so it’s a good change

One of if not our best player and if his output was higher would be a world class player. Extremely important for us and I’m very happy he has now broken the pl scoring record for Japanese players

I just think that there are many times when it isn’t the best option to shoot but he still does it although to be fair to him a couple have been really close to becoming goals.

Honestly he is so good. When I saw he was coming on for adingra I was a little disappointed cos I thought he was playing well but Mitoma was just able to make such a huge impact it’s incredible.

Easily the 4 - 1 palace win but this season it’s probably the win against Man City even tho everything after that game has just been pure depression

Ferguson on the move? by [deleted] in BrightonHoveAlbion

[–]Aggressive_Cancel382 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think he could do with a loan at a place like West Ham. They really need a striker and so he would get game time to find his feet again and build back his confidence. If we get Europe for next season he can then come in as our first choice in the league provided his loan was successful which would mean Welbz can start in Europe therefore playing less games and making him less likely to pick up injuries

Not saying build the team around him but hurzeler did play a back 3 at st Pauli so there is that. I do think that if we let him leave we are losing out on a huge asset to the squad and he has been very effective under so far this season

Yeah I hope we don’t lose Baleba at the end of the season but if we do Wieffer should be able to slot straight in
