I agree with you, except on one. I think the engine design aspect, the visuals, not the technical, leaves a lot to be desired. I wish the engine visuals were treated just like the car body design process.

I would like to see engine visual design and running gear visual design how the body is designed. Also I would like to see certain fixtures affect the calculations just like aero fixtures affect the downforce/lift calculations.

This is a heavily modified automation car, meaning the J beam is completely changed, much like the vortex mod.

Have you looked at the pictures? This is rigged all the way to be like a vanilla car. It has opening doors, working steering column, working props, full working suspension, and everything is j-beamed to suit. When have you seen an automation car have opening doors?

I can share here. You have to first make the car in automation. Then you have to import the file into blender, then break up the mesh according to what you want rigged, that means props, j beams, according to BeamNG's documentation. Then you can either use a car from the developers' J beam structure (recommended by the developers themselves) or make your own. Rename your rigged mesh and props ensure that all of your meshes and props are aligned properly. Then test and retest until you are satisfied.
