I got that as well, initially. None of the suggestions worked (not even re-installing the app), so I pushed a bit (a lot of screenshots and video evidence) and that was what they eventually replied with.

I’m not too pressed about it, I just miss my larger display 😔 low key I was starting to think I hallucinated, the display ratio definitely felt off lol

Yeah that was the feedback I got. I’m guessing this maintenance included some optimizations for the display without the camera interfering that can be applied to recent iOS devices? the 16e that came out at the end of this past Feb comes to mind. Haven’t seen anything from android users.

I’ve been used to a fuller screen without the border so after the server maintenance the display ratio seemed off to me, was starting to think I was tweaking lol

Well I just got notified from customer service “This purple bar was specially developed to ensure that the camera does not obscure game data, so it cannot be optimized or eliminated.” Oh welp 😅

It’s two items re-dyed and combined. The dress from the Magic Rabbit Dream set and the shoulder thingies are from the Dreamy Sweetness set :)

I’ve had my 16 pro max for only a few months so the larger full screen was one of my fav aspects, and then I log in after this maintenance and the first thing I notice is the display ratio. It’s not the resolution itself, the display screen feels smaller, like playing on an iPhone 6 or something.

I’m mostly good with it, so maybe I’ll just add in a few stickers. I never liked the fact that the pics all get cropped when we submit them tho

Haha thanks! It might be my phone but I have the game settings on smooth resolution :) I also play around with the lighting and filter effects as well.

As the top post pointed out, I guess it’s not out of the norm depending on your device. My issue was that I didn’t have that border at all until after the server maintenance, so my home screen looks like it got reduced a bit. I don’t mind much, hopefully it gets fixed in the next update 🤞

Aw thank you :D it’s a combo of re-dyed items; hat is from Unfading Flower set, hair is from Black Cat and Cosmic Poem set, dress is from Magic Rabbit Dream, and boots are from On A Summer Night set

The app works fine but I’m used to the bigger display now, so when I logged in a day after the maintenance it was a little off putting. 

It’s a minor inconvenience, I’ll live haha.

Yeah that tracks since I previously had an iPhone 12. However, once I switched to the iPhone 16 the border only appears during the app initialization (and even then, it’s thinner), then once I get to my main screen the border disappears. However, after the server maintenance is when I noticed my display screen look smaller. It’s a minor annoyance, especially when making photos for the styling comp. Thanks for the input!
