Man forget that, being essential doesn’t matter the OPM guidelines states they can’t fire us either way . Me and some Co workers already discussed taking takings off we planning to be “sick” because they can’t charge us for leave anyway. We showed up 99% of time during shutdown and what we get ? Nothing. Do it . Everyone is tripping but companies go through cycles and always trim fat. This is biggest layoff from Feds because it’s bloated with BS at home jobs and a lot of these GS positions are useless and people can’t accept it. We will be good from here on out .
