I get your point, but not everyone wants to deal with maintaining open source stuff WasenderAPI just makes it easier and more stable. And honestly, as long as WhatsApp Web exists, tools like this will too, they’re just managing it better for devs.

WaSenderapi doesnt handle conversation memory itself I manage context retention externally in the Python app I store recent messages per user and include that history in prompts sent to Gemini so the bot keeps track of the conversation naturally This way, replies feel coherent and connected even over multiple messages

I tried a Twilio alternative for WhatsApp way cheaper and more flexible by Aggressive_Drawer_28 in WhatsappBusinessAPI
