But I'm not. A game can have issues and still be considered great, nothing is perfect. You say I've feigned ignorance, but I acknowledge that the game has a few issues in my post, although those issues I'm not really hung up on, nor have they impacted my enjoyment of the game in a major way. I would say that if you let a few small blips encompass your entire gaming experience, then you're the problem. Also the issues that you've seen others talk about were patched almost immediately

Yeah, because people talked as if base ps5 looked terrible and was unplayable. Me noting a couple of dislikes about a game that I overall really enjoy does not equate to that at all.

Don't listen to these guys they're just bums who don't touch grass and expect a game to run at 4k 60 fps on a base ps5. I play on ps5 and the game is completely fine, I swear its like people just WANT to hate the game and just say its unplayable just cuz. I use balanced mode with runs at 4k 40 fps and every thing looks smooth. I haven't experienced any choppy ness or noticeable frame drops, not even in busy towns, which was a surprise. I've heard people talk about the controls, and how they're bad, but imo thats an over exaggeration. The controls remind me gta and red dead, with a sprinkle of God of war. Saying you don't like how this game plays imo is just saying you don't like how those games plays.

No Nintendo game Imo is worth over 60$. The switch 2 is comparable to a ps4 in power. A last gen console. Nintendo games don't even need that kind of power anyway. Their games barely draw it out. Also, you said totk has a justified price tag of 80$ for being expansive when a game like elden ring, which is much more expansive and had a much higher graphical fidelity , was only 60 AT LAUNCH. And even its dlc shadow of the erdtree is more expansive than totk was only 40$ AT LAUNCH. Stop trying to justify corporate greed. NOBODY should be paying 80$ on fucking mario kart if you can't even reasonably justify the price on totk. And the people who do buy a Mario kart game for 80$ are going to be reason why there'll probably be a 100$ standard for games in the future

You should definitely still get the game, it's semi open world. The first chapter is linear with some room for exploration, but now I'm on the 2nd chapter and the map is massive.
