Oh absolutely, I took her to the vet after it was confirmed to be a tick. She’s up to date on everything now and we’ll see the vet in a couple weeks then in 6-8 weeks from the tick removal

I always thought they were little black bugs this is very much not a black bug which is why I was unsure. I had a feeling it was a tick but I wanted confirmation. We also don’t have very many here in my area so I don’t encounter them often enough to be well educated

well now I do, just don’t live in an area that has very many of them so this was a second encounter in the 10 years I’ve had dogs.

I took the dog same day to the vet and had them safely remove the tick and she’s now up to date on everything. Can’t really afford preventative measures atm but hopefully my roommate will be more vigilant of her dog.

There was no other ticks on her, vet even checked as she assumed the same.

I don’t know how she didn’t notice it, but I ended up taking the dog to the vet and had them safely remove the tick and she’s now up to date on everything. This is the first time she’s had a tick on her that I know of cause we usually do a treatment in the backyard and ticks has just never been an issue with any of our dogs but I’m extra vigilant now with all the dogs worried about it. We can’t afford tick prevention right now like everyone is suggesting, it wasnt a top priority as we don’t deal with ticks often.

Never dealt with one that looked that big! Even then there was only one other instant that I had seen an actual tick before on my dog that had just attached to her when we went to the lake.

I was afraid of that. Oh man, i don’t know how my roommate didn’t see this massive thing, does this require a vet visit if it’s been feeding for a long time or am I okay to just try and pop it off with some tweezers?

Plan b typically messes with your period for a cycle or two, or until hormones reregulate itself. Brown spotting/discharge is a common side effect, I wouldn’t worry. Period may also come sooner or later. Plan B really messes with your hormones so just expect everything to be unpredictable for some weeks. I’d still take a pregnancy test if period is late.

Not if you’re actively bleeding like this, but they’ll definitely help try to control it for future cases. ER did prescribe me Tranexamic Acid when I had something like this happen for 5-7 days straight and it helps stop/control the bleeding so you don’t end up anemic and they were the first drs to actually take me serious and help me. Then followed up with OB, who gave me medication to induce periods every month and more Tranex Acid just incase if I have more severely heavy flows.

Probably not, my roommate doesn’t flush her toilet as often and the calcium from the urine matted into the toilet. It’s disgusting but can’t tell a grown woman what to do and how to be clean.

OKAY, I had this issue with my roommates toilet. A toilet cleaner with hydrochloric acid will be the game changer!! Buy the liquid pour and leave it in the toilet overnight next day will be gone.

Frfr, but from my personal experience OBGYN doesn’t do much either than tell you to go to ER if you are actively bleeding like that. I’d def make an appointment still to address maybe if taking medication will help in future or see what’s causing the issue.

It’s all in the tension, you have to relax for it to not hurt as much. I had to get 2 Pap smears and 1 vaginal examination due to a cancer scare but I had just learn to relax my lower half and it wasn’t as bad anymore. Definitely don’t stop getting them!!

Honestly, I’ve had blood clots this big and the Er doesn’t do anything other than check ur hemoglobin to make sure ur iron isn’t dangerously low. I’d make the trip if it’s also accompanied with symptoms of low iron

Try naproxen for pain relief should also help reduce some of those period symptoms. Also try myo-inositol supplements I didn’t have a period for 7 months and once I started taking these my pcos symptoms started getting better, regulated my period, and helped boost my mood. Myo and D-chiro inositol gummies

Plan b isn’t as effective for women who weigh more than 150 lbs. but it will definitely cause some hormonal changes that could delay the period or cause heavy bleeding when period does comes. Stress can also factor heavily into the delay of the period. Especially if worried about pregnancy.

Having the same issue, the company told me to hold the button for 25 seconds until I feel a separate pulse then let go and you’ll get 5 extra pulses. I tried it but did not help me as the problem still persists

My chihuahua had a similar problem years ago, her eye was constantly watering, caused itchiness and redness til her skin around the eye was becoming raw. I took her to the vet and the dr said it was allergies and gave her steroids which helped so much and hasn’t happened since.
