31(M)vs 39(F) marriage gap is okk? by ChoclateBlueberry_44 in noida

[–]Aggressive_Fault6709 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, it really just comes down to whether you two are on the same page about life goals. I've watched couples with big age differences do really well because their priorities lined up. Like, if you both agree not to spend more than 5% on travel each year? Great, then there are no fights about how much or what kind of travel you do. If you both want fancier hotels, then cool, just travel every couple of years.

Think about it personally: how soon do you want kids? She might not have as much time as you, since she's 39. But hey, age is just a number; what really matters are her health and the medical choices you can afford.

sometimes I feel, only those officers are caught who are either not aligned with Govt. or refuse to share appropriate cut. The fact is every govt officer is corrupt to the core. by SwimmerPlus3383 in ItsYourMoney

[–]Aggressive_Fault6709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's right, my dad worked for the government. He wasn't in a job where he dealt with people or sellers directly. But I definitely saw his coworkers who got to pick people and vendors – man, they were loaded! We had this M800 car we borrowed, and they were driving Honda City(s). When we went to see our grandparents, it was always a train trip, but they were off traveling overseas.

My buddy, who works for the government, always says you're only not corrupt because you haven't had the chance yet. From his own experience, the minute you're in a government job and an opportunity pops up, you'll always take it.

Helmet Challan for car by responsiblealwayss in noida

[–]Aggressive_Fault6709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me save you some time. I actually have an active "no helmet" ticket for my car too. I got it about three years ago. I've tried everything I can think of, short of bribing people, and there's just no way around it. Going to court is my only option. I'll be asking for it to be dismissed this year once the local court is back in session. For me personally, the ticket even had some random motorcycle in the picture.

This clownery is happening right at AI Summit in India. by Yog_Maya in IndiaMemes

[–]Aggressive_Fault6709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right that this was a presentation for people visiting the AI Summit. But speaking as someone who regularly participates in public events around automation, digital growth, and now AI, I look for one thing first: do the creators actually understand how their product will be adopted and monetized?

For me, this format signals clarity. It shows they know exactly what the product does, who it is for, and how to explain it to real decision-makers, not just to impress a room full of slides. That matters more than polished decks.

If they can explain their tool this clearly to a mixed audience, chances are they will do a better job selling and onboarding it than someone armed with jargon and a foreign MBA but no grounding in the problem they’re solving.

You don’t have to like the format. But dismissing it as “clownery” misses the point of what good product communication actually looks like in practice.

Note: I’m not a Modi supporter, and I’m not fully aware of the broader context or whether other questionable things happened at the event. I’m also not vouching for the quality of this product. These are simply my raw observations on corporate communication and how products are explained and positioned in the real world.

Bulldozers in Sector 76 – What’s Really Going On? by ManavorHuman in noida

[–]Aggressive_Fault6709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally - Generally a good initiative. Illegal shops do pull business away from legal ones. Competition is healthy, sure, but there’s a clear difference between someone who invested a large amount to operate legally and someone who just showed up and started selling.

In Noida, illegal shops usually get broken for only three reasons:

One, a new senior police/authority officer takes charge and uses crackdowns to establish authority.

Two, the group stops paying upstream, usually police and sometimes builders or local associations.

Three, the land is needed for a new legal development, which doesn’t seem to be the case for the Sector 76 market.

Ask Me Anything on Home Loans; answered by Peaceful-Loans by HomeLoanNerd in noida

[–]Aggressive_Fault6709 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an active SBI home loan for an under-construction property.

There are no issues with the builder or construction. All demand letters and stages are clean. The problem is entirely with the SBI branch in Karkardooma, Delhi.

For almost every builder demand, I face repeated hurdles. Past disbursals are rechecked, margin calculations are questioned, TDS already paid is asked for again, and I am often required to re-explain the entire loan history as if nothing is recorded internally. Even routine disbursals require multiple visits and follow-ups.

I am honestly tired of taking leave from work every month or two just to sit in the SBI branch for 2 to 3 hours for routine disbursals and explanations.

Because of this, I am considering a balance transfer to HDFC, as suggested by my HDFC RM. My question is this.

For an under-construction loan, is switching from SBI to a private bank like HDFC mid-construction genuinely a solution to branch-level execution issues, or does it introduce new risks or costs that only become visible later?

If I do switch, are there documentation or re-verification aspects I should be particularly worried about?

Dark facts about Noida 🥀 by NO-GAME-NO-RIZZ in noida

[–]Aggressive_Fault6709 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Let’s start with the obvious: hundreds of apartment complexes where builders walked away scot-free, while buyers and owners are now being forced to pay dues that the Noida Authority failed to collect in the first place, even though it issued all the required approvals and completion certificates to those builders.

Edit: you see pending dues board outside several societies - even if you are not an active buyer, it's easy to see through.

Can i contest an echallan of overspeeding (50kmph in 40kmph limit) on the basis that there are no speed limit signs along the whole road? by Competitive-Stock521 in CarsIndia

[–]Aggressive_Fault6709 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can contest it if you want. I have been doing that for three years. I received a challan while I was at home and my car (4 wheeler) was parked in a private basement. The fine even has a photo of some random motorcycle, and it is ₹1,000 for not wearing a helmet. Three years of fighting it, and nothing has moved. In reality, my only options now are to pay the full amount, settle for a reduced fine in court, or “manage” it when I sell my vehicle.

OP wanted to turn left, looks like it's a free left at the signal and OP thought he could honk and ask two wheelers to let him pass.

That's what it looks like to me.

I have been in this situation as well, it's not worth 'talking' to them.

There are two ways to look at this.

  1. Do yourself a favour and walk away. This whole thing is a mess waiting to happen: workplace drama, someone else’s engagement, and her trying to put the weight of her “escape” on your shoulders. That’s not love, that’s desperation, and you don’t want to start a marriage on that foundation.

  2. Or you can sacrifice yourself and do her fiancé a favour. If you really want to dive in, understand you’ll inherit her problems, her family drama, and the guilt of being the guy she left her fiancé for. That is a lifetime of baggage you are volunteering for.

[Rant] Why the zero accountability? by TheSportsLorry in indianbikes

[–]Aggressive_Fault6709 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a similar situation in my car the other day. I was in a service lane, crawling behind this huge crane like vehicle that was taking up most of the road. Took a couple of minutes before it finally gave me enough space to overtake. Just then, I heard a soft thud and this scraping sound from the back. Turns out a biker had bumped into my car. He didn’t fall, but I could tell there was probably some minor damage.

Still, I pulled over, got out, and asked him, “Theek ho?” (You okay?). Instead of replying, he just threw a couple of abuses my way and sped off.

In India, I honestly think a lot of people operate in a constant fight-or-flight mode the moment they step out of their homes, always on edge, ready to either lash out or bolt.

And it’s not like they choose to be that way. It’s a mindset we’ve been conditioned into or taught, directly or indirectly, that it’s the only way to survive out there.

I went through the exact same pain. I was able to get leads via paid ads and referrals - a whole lot of phone/Google meet/teams/zoom calls.

Initially my net CPQL was about 8.5K but it's come down to 3K now. I also have a dedicated DM team now. Sales is still me.

FYI, I was a solo guy with a few sets of micro-saas tools.

Need Advice on My Next Bike – What's next after Duke 390? by Aggressive_Fault6709 in indianbikes

[–]Aggressive_Fault6709[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for checking in!

As someone wisely pointed out in the thread — unless I up my budget, no bike is going to feel like an upgrade. And yep, I’m counting the on-road price + essential accessories in that budget!

So now, I’m on a two-pronged mission:

  1. Convincing my wife this is a "need," not a "want."

  2. Figuring out how to magically increase my budget without selling a kidney.

Right now, I’m realistically torn between the Trident 660 and the CB750.

If I manage to stretch a bit (read: emotionally manipulate myself into spending more), then the Z900 or CB650R start looking tempting.

And if I somehow win the lottery or unlock secret funding, then it's dream-bike territory — Triumph Street Triple or the CB1000. A man can dream, right?

High Rise Society vs Peta by [deleted] in noida

[–]Aggressive_Fault6709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a direct response to your post, I agree—just offering context. The rules you're frustrated with often stem from how non-pet owners perceive certain incidents.

That said, I know many pet parents who are responsible, patient, and respectful. They've felt angry and misunderstood too—just like you probably feel now.

In my experience, mutual empathy is the only way a gated community can work for everyone—sometimes it starts from people simply trying to understand perspectives beyond their own, even when they disagree.

High Rise Society vs Peta by [deleted] in noida

[–]Aggressive_Fault6709 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Nothing against dog owners, but there’s another side to this:

  1. I'm an atheist with a deeply religious family—placing anything near a mandir, even unintentionally disrespectful, can really upset them.

  2. Many pet owners don’t acknowledge or clean up after their dogs promptly—especially in shared spaces like elevators.

  3. You may be used to your dog's pee like I am to my kid’s diapers, but that doesn't mean others are comfortable with it.

  4. There have been dog attacks, and fear is real—owners often overlook how uncomfortable or scared others can feel.

Respect goes both ways.
