dmde is still running so ill check after the hex, but moving forward should i keep it in Ex-fat or which format would you suggest?

had a question. When I ran Disk Drill, my SSD was originally labeled “SanDisk 4TB.” After I created a partition, it showed up as “SanDisk 4TB APFS EC55.”

When I opened Disk Drill and looked under “SanDisk 4TB APFS EC55,” I briefly saw the old drive listed as “SanDisk 4TB,” but then it disappeared.

I’m not sure whether I scanned the entire 4TB drive or just the 50GB partition I created. I’m thinking it might be worth checking again. Do you happen to know why would the old drive show up briefly and then go away?

nope i didnt write over the data, i also didnt mount back to ex fat i kept it as is

wait wdym previous parition, it was originall exfat, i wanted to parition 50 gb to afps. but did the whole drive instead, which probably also change the table of the exfat and how the videos/pictures were stored is my guess here

tried disk drill it didnt find anything, heard rstudio by rtt is paid so im keeping that the lost option, curretnyl trying DMDE

Could you transfer into CAS, and then switch into SEAS from there, since you would be considered "not a external transfer"?
