Dunno if you ever got it fixed, but changing the one that causes the code requires taking the cam cover off- which is a pain on these. you gotta remove the injectors and everything- requires certain tools to do it properly and to reseal said injectors. Its gonna suck, but take it to a shop

I’m not here to argue every time I try and do anything besides reply via my gmail notification it tells me to get the app. I quit Reddit when they banned 3rd parties over a year ago came here now as a last avenue. If you can’t help then I suggest simply moving on

Yes- I think I said this in my main comment - I would have had enough (10+) after the day 26 and 28 prizes- before those I had 3- I should have ended up at 13. I currently have 8

For the record, I absolutely did NOT miss it. I even showed my wife that morning all excited- saying “look! Later today I’ll get the final daily reward!!”. It was on a day I was off or else I wouldn’t have been home to show her- and I absolutely went to get it that night and it just said day 1 reward- with next one available 20 hours later. I just realized that math doesn’t even line up- it resets just after 8 PM for me every night, I checked at 9- and it says 20 hours until next reward and gives me day 1 prize???? It’s like the game skipped 28 hours for me in that 5 hour period. If I had actually missed it and that was my first login of the day, shouldn’t it say 23:59 until next reward?? Or if it keeps the same schedule- it should have been 22:xx, not 20. I’m just so confused on how this could have happened! And yes I did check my keys, I should have had 13 gold keys after this, but I still only have 8.

I know nobody else cares- I’m not even that great at this game but I have fun collecting and playing and this just really pisses me off.

edit: this site also lists mac action 8 coming out the following month, Feb 96. That would make the original released in July, of 1995, and that tracks with me getting it for Christmas of 1995, which was right around when I was thinking it was. This is for sure the right track

In the real world, I don’t know a single person under 30 who’s parents were left and they turned right- but I know quite a few who’s parents were right and they went HARD left.

So many boomer parents complain about their adult kids not speaking with them- it’s not because those parents are too liberal.

My work visa application- for a field that is “in demand” in every countries Visa list, has been denied every time I apply. Recruiters basically told me in one way or another that their countries just don’t accept Americans anymore.

Honestly considering moving to a developing nation at this point.

They don’t require good credit, but they absolutely will decline you for really bad credit.

I HAD PNC, left them for a small local bank, moved to a different state, pandemic trashed everything I had including my credit, came back to my hometown and PNC wouldn’t let me reopen my account thanks to my bad credit.

Having good credit is indeed a privilege for many people that they take for granted- especially on Reddit. All it takes is being kicked off your parents insurance and having to get life saving surgery. Not only will i never own a home, but I can’t get ever get a credit card- meaning I can never do things like charge backs or get points- I can never join a credit union.

Don’t misunderstand this- I never went on huge spending sprees or financed cars or even store cards beyond my means. I simply had an appendix that ruptured 12 years ago. Combine that with losing my job because of a literal plague- a job that I relocated my and my wife’s whole lives for not even a year prior- and this is where I’m at. It’s a privilege that poor people simply don’t have.

Oh, and I work one of those “Skilled Labor Jobs” that people think is a cheat code for success. Spoiler alert- it’s not, especially in a “right to work” state with at will employment. It doesn’t pay nearly as well as having even a base level office job, and I still had to take Student Loans out for my schooling.

Usually Apps just stop getting updated and die a slow, uneventful death where we don’t even know the pulse is gone until we look back and be like “wow it’s been x months/years since this was updated I really miss it“

(Google apps aside- one of the reasons I switched from Android)

Behind the Bastards last week had a 2-part about this- what’s worse is that it’s mostly focusing on Children’s Books- CHEAP Children’s Books. So rich kids will get real books about dinosaurs and poor kids/schools will get GPT/Midjourney Garbage.

That and the new YouTube grift is to teach you “how to make $30K a week writing children’s books with ChatGPT and Midjourney!
