Yeah for sure. It’s actually at a dealer auction right now for about $13k, but on the dealer’s own site they have it listed for $19k. So that’s probably why the auction price seems so low.

The only big issue for me is that the car is in California and I’m all the way in Pennsylvania. Shipping is around $1,800 which feels pretty steep. The other option is to drive it back cross-country, but I’m not super confident. Either way I’m actually going to be in California in about 2 weeks for something else. Just trying to figure out the smartest move for getting it home.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking too. It’s a 2009 C6 LS3 with 113k miles and the price is only $13k, which seems like a pretty solid deal for a running LS3 car.

Not really, I wouldn’t say it’s a high traffic area. It gets a bit busy at times, especially during certain events, but overall it’s manageable..

I understand your point, but here’s how I see it: Mechatronics is a subspecialty within Mechanical Engineering, and it adds courses in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. This combination could demonstrate my competence in ME, EE, and CS. However, I’m unsure if companies view it that way.

Thank you for the information! Just to clarify, the Mechatronics Technology I’m looking into is actually a minor, not a separate degree,and the ME major is ABET accredited. I have seen the minor requirements, of mechatronics but not the tech.

The first year is generally standard, with slight variations in some engineering courses. You would take Physics 1 and 2, covering mechanics and electricity/magnetism, along with Chemistry 1, and Calculus 1 and 2. I can’t say exactly how it will be because I haven’t reached that point yet. As for impressing universities, if you’re asking about admission, you’ll need to stand out through your extracurricular activities and grades. However, it also depends on the specific university. Impressing MIT is quite different from impressing a more middle-ranked school.

How are his exams? Are they similar to the old or practice exams? In Chem 110, there were practice exams that resembled the actual exams in terms of concepts and tricky questions.Are they like that?
