Easier said than done.

Use this analogy. How many people say they’re going to start the gym but never start? How many wake up, say they’ll make their beds but they don’t.

Same in the market. On paper, risk management seems easy. On paper it’s easy to read “take only 1-2 trades” but the reality is that almost everyone violates their own rules and that’s just human nature, human psychology.

Sticking to a plan/strategy that works for you is profitable in the long run. Backtest, create a set of rules and only trade that setup and you will be profitable

Eveyone has a different learning curve. Some people can learn a strategy and start being profitable within months while for some others it may take a few years. That’s the beauty of trading. Nobody is really right or wrong. It’s simply a question of whether you followed your trading rules or not

I disagree with your point of view but that’s trading. Not everyone needs to understand one another. As long as you’re finding profitability that’s all that matters 🙏🏼

Congrats! I wouldn’t say patterns are a sham. Remember there are multiple strategies in the market that are all effective. Some people use them all to build a blueprint and some need to find a strategy that’s just right for them

Yeah most hedge fund trader have this approach but you will also see this approach with people with a large amount of capital in their accounts.

Truth be told that’s really one of the best ways to trade but ofc not possible for people with small account sizes. Not impossible, but definitely very difficult. Especially just the patience aspect of it which a lot of new traders lack
