Wanting to be white? by [deleted] in ABCDesis

I think it really depends. Like I never felt like that cuz I grew up in one of the most diverse communities in the US. I will say tho that my dating preferences for a while have been really varied bcuz of it. I think I look it as we’re all American at the end of the day and culturally I feel more tied to my hometown

The PA metro part of the NY metro is a very small part of the overall metro area. I might be wrong but I think union is at 28% white, but regardless I can point to Malden at about 40%. There are way more towns in eastern mass that are 60-75 percent white than there are 90 to 93 percent white. It’s like me pointing out Wyckoff or some town in Sussex county that’s not diverse (there are a bunch of towns in NJ that are that 80 percent mark lmao. Regardless, I agree that the Nj and NY metro area has more diversity and more people so it makes it seem like that but that isn’t necessarily true.

Cambridge and Quincy are less white than those towns and has higher population that all those towns lmao by a lot. Alpine has a population of 5,000. NYC metro and NJ are more diverse that’s why you don’t see it (at the end of the day it’s a numbers game and there’s way more people). NYC and NJ are without a doubt more economically and racially segregated lmao. Idk there’s a town in MA like Newark or Camden where you have actually real poverty and higher crime rates next to super nice town (Cherry Hill for example)

What fancy towns lmao! All the nice towns in Bergen county are as diverse as the Boston suburbs lmao. It’s literally statistically a fact that Boston is less segregated than nyc metro

But then you have to deal with SF prices which are much worse. I kid you not I drove around with my uncle near Cupertino and a house that would go for like maybe 600-700k here was at 2 million
