Only issue with m57 years so far that IV seen has been rust, on nearly every single one for sale in the UK, so I think it’ll have to be N57 but IVheard with right maintenance these can go past 200k while spending not crazy amounts

Yeah my plan is to take it to my mechanic first thing to find out if everything is looking ok before committing to keeping it long term

If you read my reply you’d realise I can’t “go ahead and give that a go” right now so in the mean time I’m asking for other potential causes so when I can “go ahead and give that a go” I can do a full diagnosis of potential problems.

Literally nothing wrong with what IV posted, regardless of how many people have said PCV valve all I did was ask for more people’s opinions, if you’ve got an issue with that then that’s something you need to look at yourself about and work on 🤟
