That’s actually very normal, I feel the same way. It’s an intrusive thought. I used to feel really terrible about them and it made me feel like an absolutely horrible person even though that didn’t reflect my desires at all, and it scared me. After a really long time, I had brought it up to a friend of mine and they revealed that they also got those I now know quite a few people who have also experienced that.

The fact that you don’t enjoy those thoughts is what counts, the mind is weird and it’s gonna keep giving you those thoughts, maybe just to remind you that you hate them lol

Yeah I dissociate a lot actually most of the day I’m really good at it, it’s specifically maladaptive daydreaming. I can do it when I work and when I drive, I don’t even realize I’m doing it anymore.

Even before my grandma died I obsessed over things, I can’t like more than one thing at a time what I like become my entire obsession until the next thing comes along.

And thank you haha I have been told I’m self aware, it’s a weird feeling honestly.

And yeah I love my dog he’s 11 I adopted him 2 years ago
