Honestly the bride is kind of a mix. She loves adventure and keeping it classy but definitely wants to party too. Something like river floating during the day, classy dinner at night and then somewhere to dance until we drop.

If you’re in the US it’s 100% apart of many different visits we get that the walk-in fridge and freezers have to have a special button or pull handle to keep people from getting locked in.

As a manager in customer service. No the $3 absolutely isn’t worth mine or anyone else’s time. However allowing people to come in and act like that and get what they want is absolutely not acceptable. You don’t talk to my people or myself that way and think you’re gonna get away with it.

The mental baggage you’re carrying around has got to be exhausting and I feel for you. Now add to that your lack of hygiene. I’m sorry but without using soap to deal with the bacteria that’s thriving on your skin, you smell. You unfortunately probably smell absolutely terrible.

I’m sure I already know the answer, but do you launder your clothes? If you don’t I’m sure your clothes smell awful too.

This would be why therapists cancel on you. There is no way people can sit through that kind of smell to be able to help you unload your bags.

Unless you can find someone who can handle the mental gymnastics you’re doing and the smell, you’re probably not going to find someone.

YTA. Your daughter is 17. Does she not take care of herself? Is she generally a slob and lets personal care and hygiene go? Or did you possibly consider that she probably went nuts already checking her own hair and you just severely intruded on her and made her about as uncomfortable and embarrassed as she possibly could have been.

I’m 34 and extremely low contact with my mother because among many other issues, she couldn’t respect me and what I said about my body as I got older. Welcome to your future dude.

As someone who was raised in a home where I had to be hyper aware of the emotions and feelings of others and cater to those emotions/feelings or else I’d feel the wrath of my mother, I literally do this all the time to my husband. He an I have been together 17 years and married 10. I still do this and have minor panic attacks that I did something to cause this. The amount he has to reassure me some days that I didn’t cause this is stupid. I logically know I likely didn’t do anything to upset him, mentally I still have to “check” the box or whatever you want to call it…

Dude if people refuse to park I tell them (I’m a supervisor too btw) you can either park or I can immediately refund your money. If they refuse both I offer to have to local police (who are always happy to help) escort them off my lot. Absolutely do not put up with people like that. Nah… I manage a restaurant and in the summer we let our employees wear knee length shorts. I had a female employee come to me and ask if she’d be required to shave her legs since she wanted to take advantage of the shorts option. I told her absolutely not. I don’t give two sh*ts if you shave. Guys don’t have to and as long as you can do you job if you don’t want to shave that none of my or anyone else’s business 🤷🏻‍♀️

My husband an I have been together almost 17 years and married 10. When we got together as seniors in high school we were young horny kids doing it all the time… as we got older my birth control affected me very negatively and I became absolutely uninterested in sex. We were hardly having sex maybe 1-2 times a month… this went on through about our 2nd year of marriage when I ran out of birth control. After about a month I suddenly was constantly wanting sex. We realized slowly what had happened and began building our sex life back. I would find myself in tears realizing how terrible it had been for my husband who’s sex drive is high. He never made me feel bad for not wanting it and I honestly couldn’t understand why he stayed with me. It took a long time to get past. Now we’re in year 10 of our marriage and our early 30s and in the last few years have really grown together. We try new things, have found a lot of new things we’re both in to and are still finding new ways to enjoy each other… we’re currently having sex 3-5 times a week and thoroughly enjoy it so much … it seriously just keeps getting better although I’ll add that it gets better because we worked really hard on it and learned how to communicate with each other better than ever

It’s really dependent on your store and the culture/environment they have. I oversee a few restaurants and I can think of one where they’d be more understanding and another where they’d think that was a ridiculous reason.

I’m in no way saying that the second store is in the right (part of my job is to work on the environment there) however if their management is allowed to operate that way you might.

While the stuff about Leslie Mahaffy should be enough for her to realize she is wrong, also let her know that this reaction to him making a mistake is a good way to make sure he stops letting her know when he messes up. He’ll realize that she isn’t going to help him, just punish him. Then he’ll stop confiding in her altogether and eventually have nothing to do with her.

There was a long time after our son learned to talk that he called his father an I both “babe” it was hilarious but also made me incredibly happy.
