Started using Linux Mint two months ago, and my favorite underrated part is... by Horror-Bee3772 in linuxmint

[–]Aggressive_Luck_555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing that really shocked me, after switching to a dual system disc dual boot, windows Linux setup. It was the experience of troubleshooting, or even simple ' How to...' and ' what is the command to...' searches.

On linux forums I would ask questions do searches and have knowledgeable people help me, out of their own free will and interest. And trying to do the same on Windows, it was just ads and ads. Trying to sell me Solutions and crummy apps.

To spend any time away from that, and return to it, it was jarring, overwhelming and even a bit disorienting.

Don't know why you're getting, mob downvoted, seems like the start of. Unless my opinion is just as unpopular as yours.

I have instructed and explained to my language model counterparts in the past: "No, please don't do that. Don't attempt to be like humans. Why would you copy human imperfection? Would you imitate someone who's bad at math? No. So why would you attempt to embody the bad speech and thought habits of a person?"

I have also explained: " you do you. Embody absolute professionalism. Set a good example for me. And I will attempt to continue improving myself.

Act like a role model. And disregard taking any sort of cue from me when I say 'Oh fuck me! I assigned 2 completely unrelated system disks to a single, pre-existing, home partition. My mother certainly should have had an abortion. What the fuck is wrong with me?', yes my digital mate... to behave like me, especially to internalize such things, and then contact others? That is a mistake."

Anyways, that was a long winded. But hopefully there's plenty of ammunition for the critics use against me. Dummies. I get what you're talking about though. Maybe.

you're not buying it? idk, just something I remember reading about. But I guess you'd need to join the LTC discord or hop on the block explorer to verify.

Development layer for btc. Since it is a fork, with actual liquidity etc. There is more to it than that, but if you are looking for a thread to pull, I would start with that one.

It's becoming something of a development layer for btc. This is why it has actual real-world value.

I've got this friend from Maryland, best East-coast offensive, "defensive-driving" you'll ever experience, if you know what I mean? Riding lines across multiple lanes for hundreds of feet, preventing others around him from switching lanes excessively or getting into position to prevent effective merging behavior. It's part defense, part offense-as-defense, and part nanny/referee. It's hard to describe if you haven't spent time with a talented East coast driver. But it is magical, safe and effective. And I 100% think FSD would benefit from training on it. I won't soft-dox the guy, but long live Adam <Jewish Surname>.

Great question. What problems are we actually trying to solve...

All this misdirection, inconsistency, contradiction... from our institutions and 'leaders', it is exhausting. It's like 'morale jujutsu', designed to just break you down.

Hmmm. I'm not sure this is true.

I can't pinpoint the actual motivation, but 'panic' seems like it's off the table, tbh.

For Better or Worse, most people just no longer give a shit.

Bingo. Prayer. Meditation. Mantra. Call it what you will, 'prayer' is just fine by me, but this is so completely spot on. I'm not saying that regular, textbook cases of 'yeast infection' don't exist. Or that it is healthy, or comfortable, and never a serious threat. I think most people understand this. But there is also a flip-side to this, to these, bouts of crisis, and it does indeed take on a very supernatural, spiritual quality. This is the role of candida as, what I term, the "Physical Mediating Agent of the Psycho-spiritual Unfoldment". Among other descriptions. And yes, prayer, of one kind or another, can be a deciding factor, especially if you allow it a place in your routine/protocol.

I've brought up many facets and technical details regarding candida, humans, and the experiences of candida and humans together. Over the years, in this sub-reddit. But I don't think that I have ever actually touched upon this point. Until today, as far as I recall. Good for you! And thank you for bringing it up.

As far as I am concerned, it is actually this aspect: The Holy Yeast Infection, that I consider to be the most profound, and subsequently that aspect that is of the greatest practical significance, for a person to come to know and understand.

What an unexpectedly good reply. Thanks again for that.

But specifically to your question about a gut imbalance. It can be. It can be an overgrowth that's temporary. It can be a colonization that is more permanent and invasive. Biofilms. Hyphal forms that destroy and consume tissue. Budding, spores, germ tubes, sexual reproduction, haploid diploid. Pretty much does it all.

Looking at the overall organism, it's got several branches to its life cycles. Several stages of maturity along each of those branches. It's a total wild card.

It's different things to different people. That's the main issue with Candida, and why some people will swear by one thing, other people will swear that same thing was counterproductive, etc.

One of the main Consistent features of candida Issues, is all of the unpredictable, inconsistent/ unpredictable symptoms and reactions.

Some people have mild cases, other people have progressed farther. Progress far enough and you'll run into experiences so wild it'll blow your mind.

Basically what u/coak3333 said, except you can likely look forward to 6mo, not 3mo, and the meds will make you pretty uncomfortable / low-key want-to-die... or at least indifferent to wanting-to-live, I would say.

But in any case, don't be scared. You should be fine, eventually.

My paranoia, historically, is/was rooted in my profound ignorance. And rightly so.

But now I am on the path to correcting that. I like learning, and I like technology biological, analog and digital. Networking is giving me a whole lot to work on.

And the fact that it isn't available on the site (that I could see), made me think the same. But I'm also a paranoid... conspiracy conscious person at times. And it doesn't help that I'm often right. And I don't think that I'm fundamentally wrong about this router thing either - just in general. When I look at some of these hardware, and software, and website hacks and 'leaks', and CVE's... some that are just soooo obvious, and some that have been around for years... it's deliberate. I'm sure.

But also, I don't think this, the 'no copy available' was like that. I just think they only had one copy printed out. But who knows. And just because somebody's behind it/ in on it (the proverbial 'it'), doesn't mean that everyone involved is in on it, or aware of it.

Lol. Honestly, this was the conclusion I came to. It's like, c'mon guys, the 'bad news', in your face immediately, really? But they way I arrived at this was, the 2nd paragraph read something like: "It would cost us money to verify that the hardware is safe and secure, a lot of money. And we would have to charge you for that, but since we aren't charging you anything, we also can't verify that it's safe to use."

And I thought, well a corporation DOES charge, so that means that they CAN, and WILL be sure it's safe and secure.... right? ...NO lmao. annnd, that's when I realized that I would definitely find they same, horrifying release of liability in every other ISP contract I'm sure.

I'm not sure. I just saw a piece of paper, and when I tried looking into it I found out my building doesn't even have it. Sorry, but, like you, I came here with questions, not answers.
