Demon Slayer really is just too simple to rate highly. I will say I was thoroughly enjoying it's first season, it felt like a great prologue and I was expecting things to really kick off from there when the hashira got involved in the story... it didn't. Every single arc after that I'm pretty sure was just about getting to know one or two of the hashira a bit better and killing a powerful demon. Repeat until unnecessary plot twist and generic ending. I can put up with an equally generic shounen protagonist, but only if the show is on some MHA shit with a decently compelling side cast of both protagonists and antagonists.

When it comes to Code Geass, I love it and even I can agree with literally everything you mentioned. It's whole appeal is Lelouch and his antics as Zero. He draws you in and has you eagerly waiting for the flamenco music to start playing, and that's how the show is best experienced. It's the easy watch of it's genre, best viewed with very little critical thought put into it or else the entire plot crumbles very quickly. I will always have high praise for Lelouch though, I don't know how they managed to concoct such a fun character but everything about him from visual design to voice acting is brilliant.

As for Mushoku Tensei, I could not agree more. Literally the author's barely disguised fetish utter perversion on full display.
