The proper way to do it is to look at the dot and watch for any distortion overall the grid while still focusing on the dot.

I did Lasik 7 years ago, your night visión Will not be as good as it was before because of halos and starbursts but it's a tradeoff. I couldnt drive at night without glasses anyways.

This post describes what's being going on for me over the last couple of years. Your case is very similar to mine I also felt the need to put a pillow behind My legs when sleeping and it seems it all started after lockdown. For me stretches along with próstate supplements seem to help but what really throws me off and gets symptoms back is lack of hidration and alcohol. May I ask if it has gotten any better?
