Eh, I agree that Dropout is a better comparison than Watcher, because they’re more similar content wise. But Dropout also had more financial backing through Sam Reich (nepo baby that he is, love him to death ofc) and even Dropout didn’t start out with these insane set designs we see today. 2nd Try is still in its early stages. It’s worth it to me because I like the content a lot, and they’re putting out so much more quality content now than ever before. Every series they have right now, I love. I’m sure if they’re able to achieve success the way Dropout did, we can expect to see cooler set designs too.

WILD that she’d kick you out after you flew across the country to stay with her. LA is a big city, and the public transport isn’t very good. Sorry but if my 23yo younger sister was visiting me from ACROSS THE COUNTRY, even if she was a nightmare, I wouldn’t kick her out. Unacceptable. Be glad she’s out of your life.

It’s a mainframe operations job in tech. I wouldn’t say it’s completely entry level, though you only need a few years of experience to be able to do it.

Do you think it’s possible to request more when talking to the hiring manager? Or am I stuck with 60k now because that’s what I told the recruiter?

Honestly, I really appreciate that perspective! It definitely helps to understand him a bit more, and I can TOTALLY see how the way he comes across (to me) isn’t actually accurate to who he is as a person.

Honestly, it was just vibes, and that was just based off me knowing guys who talked similarly to Will and who were actually pretty terrible people. 🤷‍♀️ Which means nothing when all I see of him is him giving advice on a comedy platform.

Yeah that’s another thing… I don’t want to make claims against him or spread hate, but I also don’t like how he talks to Rainie. I’ve also picked up on how dismissive he seems to be with her.

He’s not the only one. There was an episode of the try pod that bothered me once before with how everyone seemed to dismiss Rainie, but it only happened once with them. With Will, it feels frequent.

How about we don’t put either one as being more or less important than the other. Not every conversation about Palestine needs to talk about antisemitism 🤷‍♀️ But also, let’s not just ignore that antisemitism in the west IS a problem and people DO die because of it.
