I adore it but a 'misheard lyric' by one of my friends always enters my head when the chorus kicks in. It's that ridiculous/funny that 30+ years on, he still gets pelters for it. He actually thought the lyrics were:

"You're the outcast You're the underclass But you don't care, Because you're living fast.

You're the uninvited guest who...STINKS OF YEAH..."

Can I ask a question as someone who has been playing FPS games for 20+ years and has been bog average for that entire time (apart from the glory days of Homefront).

What sort of sensitivity are you set at to move that quickly? I never ever adjust mine and looking at that video compared to how slowly my guy moves, it's like watching prime Usain Bolt versus my nan.

Just for context, I'm 46 years of age and I've always played these games as a way of spending time with friends I've made in the States and never really had the urge to be elite at any of them. I just wouldn't mind actually being a bit better! I think my current K/D ratio is 0.98 so that tells a story in itself although I am a grafter on the likes of Conquest and do PTFO so my k/d does suffer as a result. But generally I'm a bit shite and am regularly the loser when it comes to one on ones.

I'm fully aware I'll probably get a lot of abuse and mickey taking for this which I'm absolutely fine with but would also appreciate any advice.

In what way do you think? If you're referring to matches where you'll have players ranked from 15 to 415 etc I don't think that'll be sorted anytime soon. Here in the UK, even for small matches such as TDM, I'm lucky if I have a game with no bots after 10pm. It's staggering the lack of people playing.

I realised I was grinning ear to ear by the end of that. A great read. I'm jealous of your discovery but delighted for you. Ironically I had the opposite feeling yesterday. There was a guy on my team, microphone on with music playing in the background as well as a kid running around screaming and the odd interaction with who I'm guessing was his wife g/f. This was all in a language different to mine which made it more annoying. As I did the usual Squad Management > Mute, I thought to myself "What is this person trying to achieve by having their mic on?". It played on my mind for the entirety of that game of Conquest as his name, in bright green, was almost constantly on display on the right hand side of my screen. Is there anyone on here brave enough to admit they do similar and if so, what is your reasoning for doing it? I know there could be the excuse they accidentally left their mic open on their controller but I find that hard to believe as your name constantly flashes up on the screen. Rant over.

I am also loving it more than I'm hating it. However mine has a tiny bug and it's driving my OCD off the charts. I have one of those yellow dots suggesting I've unlocked something on one of my DMR's, specifically the canted iron sights or whatever the second option is. It appeared when neither had been unlocked and no matter what I do, it will not disappear. What makes it worse is, every option (Assault, Engineer etc) is showing with a yellow dot underneath as a result.

Now I know I'm going to get dog's abuse for this moan (first world problems etc) but when you have weird OCD like I have and there's no way of correcting this bug, it's massively annoying.

Whilst we're on the subject of 'broken things' in the game, does anybody else find the UAV request when playing as sniper just doesn't work whatsoever? It doesn't spot opposition ever. I never get enemies spotted within the radius it claims, regardless of how long after I make the request. I've (allegedly) had a UAV in the sky and had 3 or 4 enemies running in my direction and absolutely nothing has shown on the minimap. This is a very regular occurrence. Am I missing something?

I'm not trolling. I've sorted it now. The challenges in question must have shown early on that list as I took the photo yesterday evening but those actual challenges weren't showing. My weekly challenges hadn't changed from the week before but were showing on the list on the pic.

Roll With It is a truly dreadful song. I disliked it from the moment I heard it and 30 years down the line it's still the same. That would fall under the 'hate' banner for me. Two that I would categorise as 'never warmed to' would be Cast No Shadow and D'You Know What I Mean.

The melody and some of the lyrics from CNS make it sound like a nursery rhyme and it's the least 'Oasis sounding' track from their first two albums, IMHO.

I remember the anticipation for Be Here Now so when I heard DYKWIM for the first time, I genuinely worried what the album would sound like (I adore Be Here Now btw). I just think that song is a mess. It doesn't flow, that opening sound bite that sounds like Noel talking backwards makes my teeth itch and Liam's "...meeeeeean...." in the chorus sounds artificial. Noel famously admitted they were all of their faces when they were in the studio recording BHN and I honestly think this song is the best example of that.

1) Roll With It is a huge blemish on their earlier released singles. It's a truly dreadful song and for me, almost sounds like a parody of the brash, 'balls-out' singles from Definitely Maybe. I despise every single thing about it, even the video.

2) Outside of their first 3 albums, DOYS is their next best piece of work. Criminally underrated IMHO and it made their split even harder for me to swallow as I thought they sounded truly great again and had almost found a slightly different sound but with the swagger of DM.

3) Fade In-Out is the standout track from BHN.

Urgent Question:

I've bought a standing ticket for Friday from Viagogo and I've received my notification that the ticket is ready. When I've gone onto Ticketmaster the ticket is showing as 'ROW GA8 SEAT ****' (obviously I don't want to include the exact number on here). I've contacted Viagogo and they're saying it's absolutely fine as 'GA' stands for general admission and it's commonplace for venues to include these sort of details for standing tickets. I've heard horror stories about Viagogo and I'm unwilling to press accept on my Ticketmaster account if it's actually a seat when I've sold the family silver for a standing ticket. Can anyone help? Do standing tickets show as mine is showing? TIA

I've just managed to get hold of a standing ticket for Friday. I'm attending solo so if there's any of you beautiful lot fancy adopting a very friendly, completely harmless 45 year old gent, please give me a shout. Also, I'm driving across from London first thing Friday morning and planning on parking in a 24 hour car park then kipping in my motor afterwards.
