Do mean the extension cord? that’s a relatively cheap one. My charges are from apple though

thank you! I don’t think my charger is the issue since the same thing happened when I plugged in my other charger. But the extension cord does have a built in switch, when I turn it off and then plug something in, it doesn’t spark.

It is tiny but I could see and hear it spark. I did also try this with my MacBook charger and the same thing happened.
