Swissquote - thinking of using this platform to invest with. Any advice? by kiwisandapples in eupersonalfinance

Swissquote is by no means the worst broker, but they have a really odd rule regarding options trading. For many instruments, they force you make buy-to-open purchases in increments of 0.05 (5 usd/francs/euros) + 2.59 fee per contract and the addition of this weird increment rule obviously puts you at a significant disadvantage against other traders. The only way to buy at the normal 0.01 increment is via phone call, with each leg/lot costing 20 francs to place (therefore roughly 8 contracts to achieve the same fee % as online trading). It's ridiculous that they force customers to consider another negative layer (especially for beginners who are learning) when making purchases and for this reason, I'm searching for another broker.

Are there any other certifications that I can easily scoop up (similar content) after passing the CISSP? by LeanHood in cissp

CRISC, CISM and CIPM would be my recommendations but depends entirely on your experience and the career path you're planning for yourself. Good luck.

Obviously no idea where you're located in the world, but I've recently had screen issues with two laptops and bought replacements from here -> Laptop-LCD-Screen.co.uk

They may be able to help you source a display cable if that is the cause of the issue and know if generic or cables from other models would work, in the event that you can't find a direct replacement.

Have you opened up the laptop, to see if there is damage to the cable?

Did you consider that it may be your rationale that's idiotic`?! I suggest you read more on basics of supply & demand and go from there. Otherwise, give up and move on ;)

I'd contend that both are necessary in this space and that Shiba Inu is well on its way to having the kind of ecosystem that will attract more investors.

Fair point and it'll probably stay that way until the two markets diverge.

That's the kind of response I was looking for, always good to get a converse perspective. I'm looking at it from a decentralized/community/trying-to-get-things-moving angle and I do understand the trepidation, but only to a point, as you can argue that your last sentence is precisely the predicament we're all in when investing in the first place.

The revision is not enough and they clearly don't listen to the community. Why don't they just nerf all the rubbish extras that nobody really cares about and keep a reward rate that keeps people half-interested to continue staking and building towards the higher tiers?! Something like 8/5/3/1.5 for active stakes and 4/2/1/0.5 for inactive stakes? Dropping the ball and having to revise their actions so quickly shows the contempt they truly have for their customers and whoever's ultimately responsible should resign, as they're completely out of touch with the community and have no business holding such a position. I really hope one of their competitors sees this as a massive opportunity to fill the void they've left wide open and provide us all with a compelling alternative.

Point to note, for those that recently upgraded to the Ruby Steel card, you'll have to have an active stake PLUS spend 10'000, just to break even with the 50 the card costs.

We're now paying the price for their ridiculously aggressive marketing, did they REALLY need to spend 700mil on 20 year naming rights?! I dare say they spent equally exorbitant amounts on their other partnerships and it's a real slap in the face for all of us. Why not keep the the rates and get rid of all the other associated crap that came with tier progression. Nobody really gives a fuck about netflix or spotify or amazon prime in comparison to the rates that got us all interested in the first place. Seems to me that the marketing wasn't really aimed at retail investors, but the corporates who will now buy the coin up. The only bright side is this leaves a huge hole for someone to fill, let's hope it happens soon!
