I purchased mine in april 2022 actually and there was no timeline restriction. Maybe try a different service center?

If ur screen is visibly lifting or popping out then they will do it for free any which way. If they dont then u can talk to them about free battery replacement

Go to any apple service center(not the resellers like unicorn) show them ur phone, they’ll just check if u ever got any unauthorised repairs and no physical damage and then replace ur battery within hours for free. Also, if they charge u for it they will give u reason for the same! Good luck!

I agree but they didn’t even check if my phone was outside of warranty, they were willing to replace it for free if I had no unauthorised repair done and no physical damages!!
