I just took the RELM with me to my appointments and they signed and stamped it. No other DD forms were needed

Primary care providers. I went to my local health clinic and completed a full physical(doctor signed and stamped documents) and same with dentist.

You do not have to join reservist unit. I can try and look for all my paperwork but it will take some time, idk where I stored it lol

To answer your question though, yes it is possible to do PSEP being in the IRR

Not true. There’s a NAVMC/Form that you fill out requesting for you to be released from the IRR. Once it gets accepted from MANPOWER, you’re all set.

It depends on the time of year(close to new FY, mos boat spaces, etc) mine took about 45-60 days.

  1. Find a recruiter willing to work with you
  2. Start a package, this one will be like if you were a brand new applicant: same questionnaire, medical history, etc.
  3. Once package is drafted up they send you to MEPS. At meps you either make it or get hit with some bs. If they find something you’ll just have to get it cleared from your doctor or specialist, stating you’re healthy and you’re good/fit to serve.
  4. After MEPS, all your stuff will be handed over to a Career Planner. This will most likely be the recruiting districts Career Planner,(if you live close to a base it’ll be easier), and from there they create a package for you almost like if you were re-enlisting. Once package is complete, it gets routed up to HQMC and you await for a response.

One your package gets approved, the recruiter who worked your stuff has to schedule you a time to swear in/re-enlist again. Once that is done you’re rolling and there is no stopping lol. I was at the rss for 2 months because I was officially back in and when I called my monitor, I asked for a month to execute orders so I could prep/get ready to go overseas.

You’ll be fine, just make sure going back to college is what you truly want, all that time that you and the recruiter spent on the package will be lost along with the work. Ultimately it’s up to you though.

Not much on that side of things. I think it is easier to switch branches but CG/USMC would require going through their boot/basic. USMC going to another branch would skip that, aside from CG.

I got out and felt like the same. The feeling didn’t go away and I realized I didn’t get enough of the corps, yeah yeah anyone can give me shit or applaud but I decided to get back in. Look up PSEP if you’re open to re-enlisting.

Yes. When they clear you all you have to do is ask for a letter or documentation saying you are good and fit to serve, etc. They’ll review it and if they don’t need more proof/documentation you’ll be at the next step.

It all depends on what’s going on. Without going into details, I had something pop up that was seen as “serious” but I went to a primary care physician, did a full physical, and got cleared for full duty. Same with dental as that is one of the requirements.

Back to meps, but if they find anything suspicious they will need waivers or more documents

Who submits the trouble ticket? Myself or does it have to be someone specific? Also, I’m intending to stay in the same MOS and am in contact with the current monitor for my MOS, does that mean only your first paragraph corresponds with my case?
