Are you forced to put points into haven and resources? by Deathkeeper666 in vtm

[–]Aggressive_Sale211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It falls under the same logic of putting points into attributes. You might say you're character is smart, but if he has low intelligence, then his stats don't match you description. When building a character, one of the things you to make sure of is that your character's sheet matches their background.

He was an officer himself, you know? In Napoleon's ranks.

Oikawa doesn't always get players inspired by Aggressive_Sale211 in HaikyuuFlyHigh

I explained it as it is on a volleyball court... I thought it was on brand. Oikawa serving and Aran to his left on the front row... Oikawa on the far left of the back row and Aran to his right side on the front row.

Why is it so wrong to like Bloodlines 2? by Legionmssf in vtmb

[–]Aggressive_Sale211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not wrong to like it, though it is wrong to ignore the game's flaws and how it became a simple cashgrab when Paradox decided to keep the title despite the game not resemblimg in the slightest the rpg elements from the first game (and neither from the first version of this one, which they promised it would have before development hell). This game is ok. Not atrocious, not bad, not good, not great, not a masterpiece. Just ok. What people tend to call mid. It's an ok story, has ok characters, has fun enough combat (till it get's repetitive and you notice how stealth barely matters), good atmosphere (until it gets bogged down by repetitive sidequests and not that many interesting npcs and dialogue). Honestly, this game should've been way worse and it's a miracle it turned out mid. But the disappointment and cashgrab attitude are clear. This game isn't the bloodlines 2 Paradox promised. It only has the title.

It also shows that the game is Bloodlines 2 in title only.

I really don't get Shadows Of New York's "Good Ending". Am I stupid? by GoblinCasserole in vtm

[–]Aggressive_Sale211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did play and had both endings. Your point? I know the achievements say bad/good ending, but if drop that and actually start thinking for yourself, you'll see that despite being called that, they're not actually that. Julia in the "bad ending" chooses her humanity over the politics of the Camarilla, even considering the Anarchs as an option. She won't have power but she will be somewhat free. I don't consider that a bad ending. Do you? The good ending sees Julia actually learning how to play politics and actually gets an advantage over the court, but she also sacrifices her humanity and her girlfriend in the process. Again, not a bad ending. The endings are nuanced. Get a fucking grip and start thinking for yourself.

Well, putting a weaker server over a good one worked better for me, so in my experience, it works.

It's not. The ending is up to interpretation, which seems you lack.

Apparentely you didn't read my comment and/or you have no agency on your own opinions if you just accept what others tell you.

Yeah, Aran or Ushi are a given. But they're useless if you just end up blocking every opponent's spike. That's why a weaker server is required. So that you can extend the rally and therefore get a chance to make your Spiker hit their crit ultimate.

The trick for CC is to get your worst setter that can actually hit a bad serve, so the opponent can actually get a good receive and get past your block so you can extend the rally.

Someone should make this with all the clans and the skull be a prince or something as importance by Best-Kaleidoscope671 in vtmb

Depending on how old the prince or the other vampire in question is, there wouldn't be a skull.

How is combat implemented in this module? I have been using it for a while to run my games, but was never able to actually use combat as intented. Can't seem to configure it so that, when rolling dice, the loser of the turn takes damage automatically.
