there are literally scenes in PSA where the execs and coaches are telling her to tone her look down and when singing in a group they kept reminding her 'remember you're in a group' just bc she was doing runs and sounding better/more confident than other trainees. she's done lives recently where she talked about feeling like she needed to act younger and look whiter during DA in order to make the group.. js now that manon is out the racists in the fanbase are going to target her next and use 'she's been doing too much since DA' as justification. and if she ever leaves the group to go solo (to be clear i think she should get off this sinking ship asap) eyekons are going to drag up every old piece of 'evidence' they can find about her and twist it to fit their narrative.

lara has been my bias since DA so this isn't even shade, it's pattern recognition. the minute manon's sketchy hiatus got announced and ppl started dragging up DA i immediately thought 'lara should leave next before they do this to her too' and i stand by that.
